The Ministry of Agriculture and Livestock Development invites stakeholders, members of the public, and all interested parties to participate in the National Validation Meeting, for the revised Draft Kenya Agricultural Data, Information and Digital Policy, 2026 and the Draft Digital Agricultural Information Bill, 2026, to be held on Friday, 7 August 2026, from 9:00 a.m. at KALRO Headquarters, Loresho.

The revised drafts incorporate feedback received during the nationwide stakeholder engagement and public participation exercise conducted in March 2026. The meeting provides an opportunity to review the final drafts, build stakeholder consensus, and contribute to the next phase of the legislative process.

The proposed Policy provides the framework for advancing digital transformation in Kenya's agricultural sector through the use of data, digital technologies, and innovation. The proposed Bill establishes the legal framework for the Kenya Agricultural Digital Information Centre (KADIC).

PPCK continues to participate in the 2026 Nakuru National Show, building on yesterday's success where the Company emerged as the winner of the Best Agro-Processing Stand and also secured 2nd Place in both the Best Stand in an Agricultural-Based Organization that Disseminates Safety Information on Agricultural Products category and the Best Stand that Interprets the Current Show Theme.

Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming learners, farmers, researchers, and visitors from different parts of the country who visited our stand to learn more about the pyrethrum value chain—from laboratory research and seedling development, farmer support and crop collection, quality inspection and processing, to the manufacture of quality pyrethrum-based products. Their interest and engagement highlighted the growing importance of knowledge sharing, innovation, and value addition in agriculture.
