Progress is moving fast at Nesat villa ! 🏗️

Today the team is installing the upper floor formwork and preparing for the next concrete stage. Every week we get one step closer to turning this vision into reality.

It’s exciting to see the structure taking shape and to finally be able to walk through the future spaces. Huge credit to the construction team for their hard work in the Cambodian heat.

Nesat Village, Srae Ambel, Koh Kong is growing day by day. 🌴🇰🇭

Progress update on our new villa project in Cambodia 🇰🇭🏡

Today we are compacting the crushed stone base before pouring the concrete slab. This is an important stage of construction, helping create a stable and well-prepared foundation for the house.

Taking the time to properly prepare and compact the base reduces future settlement and ensures the structure is built on a solid platform from the very beginning.

Quality starts below the ground long before the walls go up. đź’Ş

The swimming pool and septic system are now taking shape and it’s exciting to see the project coming together step by step.

Every great project starts with a solid foundation. The excavation is complete, the structures are being formed, and soon we’ll be moving into the next phase of construction.

Building in Cambodia requires patience, planning, and attention to detail, but seeing the vision become reality makes it all worth it.

Looking forward to sharing more updates as we continue building our dream home in the jungle. 🇰🇭🌴

One of the smart decisions we made during construction was installing a termite protection system before the foundation was completed.

The soil around the foundation was professionally treated and sprayed to create a protective barrier against termites. In Cambodia, where termites are very common, this is an important step that can help prevent costly damage in the future.

The termite treatment comes with a 5-year warranty, giving us extra peace of mind that the house is protected from the start.

🇰🇭 In Cambodia’s climate, termites are a real risk, so installing a termite barrier during the foundation stage is a good shout 🙂

My Australian mentor and engineer friend visited the site today to inspect the work, and he was very impressed with the Cambodian engineers and construction team so far 🙏🇰🇭🇦🇺

Thank you so much peter 🙂

It’s amazing to see Western and local knowledge, experience, and ideas coming together like this. This is how strong projects are built — by learning from each other and working together with respect ❤️
