The Lake House is situated on Bird Lake at the end of a quiet unpaved road, just 10 minutes inland from the lively surf resort of Hikkaduwa, on the south-west coast of Sri Lanka. The contemporary design of the 3 storey building features high ceilings and natural air flow that keeps the villa cool, sustained by natural cement floors. Picture windows give uninterrupted views of this beautiful lake,

which is reached at the foot of the garden, beyond the private pool. The house is self-catering, with a fully equipped kitchen & a full-time housekeeper on hand to look after guests. The local markets offer a wide selection of fresh produce: vegetables, fruit & locally caught fish and seafood, There are restaurants within walking distance on the lake edge and many dining options in and around Hikkaduwa. The house comprises 3 double king-sized bedrooms with en suite bathrooms, all with aircon, fans and net; living room, dining Room, kitchen with breakfast patio, veranda and roof terrace and can accommodate up to 6 guests comfortably.
