Unspoken love.

It was a little hot today, and I was sweating under a restless sky.
I went out again to the same place, just like last night.

A big cloud drifted down, heavy with memory.
He looked at me and said,
“Do you know what happened last night?
I was there with you. You were waiting, weren’t you?

Aunt Wind spoke to me. She said,
‘If you love the girl Rain, set her free.
Her heart isn’t yours. Her path runs to the ocean.’

So I let her go.
It was hard, but I couldn’t hold a sky that wasn’t meant for me.”

I whispered back, “Did she say anything?”
“He shook his head.
‘She was silent. But in her silence I understood—she wanted the sea.
Now I don’t know where she is. I feel empty without her.’”

I felt the ache in his voice.
“Don’t worry,” I said. “Every day I meet her sister, the river Kalani.
She runs to the ocean every morning. The ocean is a good friend of yours, right?
I’ll give her your message. He’ll hear it.”

The cloud was quiet for a moment, then nodded.
“Thank her. Tell her I never said it out loud…
that I loved her more than the sky itself.”

At midnight the sky was cloudy and dark, The girl moon hid, and the stars lost their spark.

I heard a whisper and stood still to hear,
The aunty wind said, " uncle cloud,lend me your ear.

If you love her, let her go free and light,
Rain's elder sister, the River,will take her to her fianc'e the Sea tonight.

I don't treat every child the same because every child is different.My job is to make sure everyone reaches the goal.
