*Professional Collaboration with Harwest International Business College (HIBC Campus) – QS Practical Camp 2025*

It was a great privilege for *Maruthamunai Survey Consultants* to collaborate with *Harwest International Business College (HIBC Campus)* during their recently conducted *Quantity Surveying Practical Camp 2025* — a two-day *hands-on training* on *Surveying and Levelling.*

Our senior team, led by *Mr. S. M. Rusaith (Registered Surveyor),* had the honour of joining as part of the *professional resource panel* to guide and mentor HND in Quantity Surveying students throughout their practical sessions.

*Comprehensive Professional Engagement*

In addition to the on-site practical training, *Maruthamunai Survey Consultants* conducted *pre-camp guidance and preparation sessions* to ensure students were well-equipped with the theoretical and technical foundations before entering the field.

Following the completion of the camp, our team also facilitated the *assessment and viva sessions* to evaluate the students’ learning outcomes and practical competency — completing a full cycle of professional guidance from preparation to evaluation.

*Learning Outcomes and Practical Exposure*

During this two-day camp, students had the opportunity to:

* Gain experience with essential surveying instruments such as *Auto Levels* and *Total Stations.*
* Perform accurate field measurements and levelling tasks, analyzing land contours and developing project site layouts.
* Collaborate in teams to solve on-site challenges and apply their technical knowledge with confidence.
* Strengthen their foundation in *construction measurement* and *cost management* — the core of the Quantity Surveying profession.
