Some Feelings…

I cannot live the way I wish,
yet I keep living—just to survive.
In a place that is not my own,
I feel as though I’ve lost a part of myself.

I cannot eat what I long for,
yet I refuse to let life slip away.
With whatever little I have,
I carry myself through each passing day.

I cannot say what I truly feel,
so I bury my words deep inside,
quietly holding my emotions,
learning to endure in silence.

In a life displaced by war,
people look without seeing,
hear without understanding,
and value us as though we are nothing…
until even we begin to question our own worth.

And so…
at this very moment,
the life of the displaced
is a silent poem—
filled with unseen wounds,
softly crying within.
