This month Carl Peralta of Property in the Med had the privilege of speaking at the RE/MAX Libya launch conference in Tripoli.

The panel brought together speakers from USA, Egypt, Tunisia, Libya, Lebanon, UAE and our Firm representing Malta – truly highlighting the international nature of real estate.

Various topics were discussed including the complexities of setting up and running a successful network of estate agencies and the importance of participating in international events.

It's one thing to open an office. It's another to build a network that scales – with consistent standards, the right people, and systems that actually work across multiple locations.

The Ghattour family's vision for RE/MAX Libya impressed us. Together with their capable and hardworking staff, they've built it on strong principles, and the market opportunity there is substantial.

''Property in the Med'' is heading to Tripoli in Libya this Saturday.

Ing. Moad M. Mhani of REMAX Libya invited Carl Peralta to speak at his Firm's real estate conference. The topic: "The future of real estate brokers in Libya."

Ing. Mhani spoke at ''Property in the Med'' last September in Malta. Now we get to return the favour on his home turf.

The lineup includes speakers from Tunisia, Libya, UAE, and Egypt. A regional conversation about where brokerage is heading in North Africa and the Gulf.

Libya's market is undergoing significant change. There's a substantial housing deficit, and reconstruction is underway. PropTech is starting to enter the conversation. Brokers who embrace these changes will drive the next phase of the market.
