“You can’t really own property in Cabo…”
I hear this all the time — and it’s one of the biggest misunderstandings about buying in Mexico.

Here’s the truth 👇
Foreigners can own property in Cabo.
Ownership is just structured differently through a bank trust called a fideicomiso.

It’s not a lease.
You don’t lose control.
You can sell, rent, renovate, and pass the property on to your heirs.

The trust exists for legal reasons near the coast — and it’s been used safely for decades.

Once people actually understand how it works, most of the fear disappears.
Different system. Same ownership.
