Actor Jackie Chan said a video of a young boy from Gaza deeply moved him and brought him to tears. Speaking about the moment, Chan said he watched a clip in which the child was asked what he wanted to be when he grew up.

According to Chan, the boy replied, “Children on our side don’t grow up.” Chan said the response made him cry instantly, noting that the child spoke without emotion, which made the moment even more powerful.

Reflecting on the video, Jackie Chan said it reminded him that simply growing old is a form of happiness. He also expressed sadness over the situation faced by children in Gaza, who continue to live amid ongoing violence.
