Site visit to see the process of levelling the land for another industrial project in Kota Puteri, Selangor. This project is under a government linked company which is owned by Selangor State Government.

The soil condition is hard enough because of the rocks underneath. Explosives has been used to blow the ground.

I was informed the semi-detached that are going to be built do not even require piling. That shows how strong the foundation already is.

This project is opened for sale to all Malaysian and also international companies.

One misconception is that the size of the building dictates the industrial category it falls into.

Example like this project, albeit being quite big, it falls into the category of light industry. It is not for manufacturing.

Then does it mean light industry only for small businesses? NO, far from it. Rather it relates more to the types of business that is allowed to be conducted there.

This project in Puchong, Selangor now opens the phase 2 for sale (phase 1 has been Sold out).

Eco World Development Group Bhd (KL:ECOWLD) said on Tuesday it has signed agreements to sell a land for RM266.1 million and build a data centre on another land to be leased to Pearl Computing Malaysia Sdn Bhd, an affiliate of Google.
