We are honoured to announce that UMW High Value Manufacturing Park in Serendah has been awarded the MIPPEA 2024 Award for Design Excellence in the Masterplanned Development – Large Scale (250 acres & above) category. This recognition highlights our commitment to sustainable and high-value industrial development.

The award was presented during the MIPPEA Presentation Night at Majestic Hotel Kuala Lumpur, graced by YAB Dato' Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia. Representing UMW Development Sdn. Bhd., Mr. Eric Chew Kar Kean (Director, Property & Development) had the privilege of receiving this prestigious award.

Since its inception in 2015, UMW High Value Manufacturing Park has been a catalyst for high-value investments, housing key industry players such as UMW Aerospace, UMW Campus, LONGi Malaysia Berhad, and PERODUA. Currently in its final phase of development, the industrial township continues to attract cutting-edge investments.

Notably, the development has been recognised under the Low Carbon City Framework (LCCF), with us working closely with MPHS to ensure a sustainable and future-ready industrial hub.

We were delighted to receive a visit from key Selangor state government stakeholders led by YB Tuan Ng Sze Han, Selangor State Executive Councillor for Investment, Trade & Mobility to UMW High Value Manufacturing (HVM) Park yesterday. 😀

Accompanying him were YB Pang Sock Tao, ADUN Kuala Kubu Bharu, YB Wayne Ong Chun Wei, ADUN Balakong, and YBhg. Dato’ Hasan Azhari, the Chief Executive Officer of Invest Selangor.

The morning started with the introduction of the high value manufacturing managed industrial park by Mr. Eric Chew Kar Kean, Director, Property & Development and his team, before a site visit of the surrounding area.

We hope this visit has been a fruitful one and will pave the way for future collaborations! 😄🤝

We are delighted to witness a significant ceremony that took place last week at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre, marking an outstanding development in the business landscape. 😁🎉

UMW Development Sdn. Bhd. (UMWD) and Xinbo New Materials Sdn Bhd (XNM) came together for the official exchange of documents related to the purchase of industrial land totalling 38.08 acres in Precinct 5B Northern Zone of UMW High Value Manufacturing Park, with a total investment value of around USD 70 million.

The ceremony, which was held in conjunction with the Selangor Industrial Park Expo 2024 (SPARK 2024), was witnessed by YAB Dato' Seri Amirudin Shari, Menteri Besar of Selangor, YB Tuan Ng Sze Han, Selangor State Executive Councillor for Investment, Trade & Mobility and En. Mustamir Mohamad, Managing Director, UMW Division.
