Things you should look out for before buying a property:
1. Conduct a Physical site inspection
2. Demand copies of title documents to the property’s
3. Carry out due diligences - Conduct a search of the property title at the Land Registry and obtain certified true copies of documents (where necessary) - Conduct a search in the court to ensure that the property is not a subject of litigation
4. Chart the property coordinates at Surveyor General’s office and obtain charting information.
