Sometime last year, a client inboxed me
After usual pleasantries, the first thing he asked was:
“Jesse, what exactly is this land banking you’re always talking about?”
The next question surprised me even more:
“Is real estate fraud actually real? Can someone truly get scammed trying to buy land?”
After answering his questions, he then said something very honest:
“I want to invest in Abuja real estate, but I’m not sure if it’s even real in the actual sense.”
I smiled.
I did, because if you’re not in Abuja, you might not fully understand how powerful this market is.
Real estate is one of the most dominant industries in Abuja.
Land sales.
Leases.
Rentals.
Estate development.
Government acquisitions and encumbrances.
It’s a serious ecosystem.
Unlike cities driven by manufacturing, Abuja runs heavily on property.
Outside government establishments and civil service structures, a large percentage of economic activity here is tied directly or indirectly to real estate.
You’re either:
• Selling land
• Buying land
• Developing land
• Managing property
• Or building for yourself or for others
That’s the reality on ground.
The key is not whether real estate is real.
The real question is:
Are you working with the right people?
Because yes, scams exist. But so do verified, structured, and bankable opportunities.
And smart investors take time to understand the difference.
Abuja is not hype.
It is positioning.
And those who understand land banking early rarely regret it.
If you’ve been watching from a distance and still unsure, send me a message.
Let’s have a clear conversation.
No pressure. Just facts, structure, and verified opportunities.
The earlier you take position, the better your advantage.
