Parts of our acquisitions last year turn out to be swampy, and of course we are committed to productivity no matter what.

And so we got into cultivating 5 hectares of rice farm this year. The attached video here captured the rice farm at 28 days old.

We are committed to doing better than ever.

Deeply Inspiring

Two months ago, OpenAI acquired one of our portfolio companies. Last month, Vercel acquired another. And today, another major American company has acquired yet another company in our portfolio (public announcement coming in 15 days).

To the members of Tekedia Capital: enjoy the ride.

And to the Good People here, I am having a great day!

In the entrepreneurial cambrian moment, one thing remains certain: the rain will always fall. Today, it is raining abundantly at Tekedia Capital. Onward!

We couldn't have gone this far last year, but because we understand that starting rough based on the availables gives room for improvements.

Last year, we randomly planted 3 hectares of Cassava farm, this year 5 hectares of Cassava farm planted as seen in the attached picture.

One thing we know is that the road to success is always under construction. There is always room for improvements, we will stay consistent.

We are committed to a greener society for sustainable future.

Last year the journey began with 3 hectares of Cassava farm, it was successful and we commenced garri processing last week.

Elon Musk showed up to his own birthday party in 2008 and nobody was there. He had invited friends. Most of them had stopped returning his calls because he had borrowed money from nearly everyone he knew and the companies were failing publicly.

His brother Kimbal was the only one who came. They sat together in an almost empty room and Elon said something Kimbal has never forgotten. He said "I think I used up all my goodwill." Not dramatically. Factually. Like he was reading a balance sheet of human relationships and the number had hit zero.

This was the man who had made his friends millionaires from PayPal. The same people who became wealthy because of him were now avoiding his calls because his new ventures looked like they were going to fail. The loyalty evaporated at exactly the same speed as the bank balance.

Kimbal said Elon didn't seem angry about it. He seemed like a man confirming something he had always suspected. That most relationships are transactional and the transaction was no longer favorable.

The loneliest birthday in Silicon Valley history happened to a man who had made more people rich than almost anyone in the room. And the lesson it taught him about loyalty and isolation is visible in every decision he has made since.

He stopped expecting people to stay. He started expecting them to leave. And he built everything after that accordingly.

Elon Musk exposed the one lie every modern nation tells itself.

Musk: “In 1969, we were able to send somebody to the moon.”

Rotary phones. Computers the size of rooms. Slide rules.

We put a human on the moon with less processing power than your watch.

Musk: “Then the space shuttle retired, and the United States could take no one to orbit.”

The most advanced nation in human history went from footprints on the moon to zero capability of leaving the atmosphere.

That is not a funding problem.

That is civilizational decay dressed up as a policy decision.

Musk: “People are mistaken when they think that technology just automatically improves… it will, by itself, degrade.”

That sentence should keep you up tonight.

We treat progress like gravity. Like it pulls us forward whether we try or not.

It is the opposite.

Progress is a boulder on a hill. The second you stop pushing, it rolls back over you. And it never announces itself.

Musk: “You look at great civilizations like ancient Egypt, and they were able to make the pyramids, and they forgot how to do that.”

They did not run out of stone.

They were not conquered.

They got comfortable. And the knowledge bled out so quietly that nobody noticed until it was already gone.

That is the real threat to everything we have built.

Not a nuclear flash. Not an asteroid. Not some dramatic Hollywood collapse.

A quiet forgetting.

Every chip we fabricate. Every rocket we launch. Every data center we power. All of it held together by a thin fraction of the population working at a pace that would break most people.

The moment that fraction gets tired or outnumbered by people who believe the machine runs itself, everything dissolves.

And here is the part nobody wants to say out loud.

We are not special. We are running the same operating system as every civilization that came before us.

Comfort is the sedative. Complacency is the flatline.

One generation that stops fighting is all it has ever taken.

You do not lose the future in a war.

You lose it in your sleep.
