Stolen From The Mind Of A British Man

So you Igbo people are worried that we, the British people, are against you. Tell me why we won't be against you. We came to Nigeria; every tribe bowed to us, and we ruled them, but you gave us headaches. You frightened us with the long juju of Arọ Chukwu. You organised the Ekumeku w@r and fought us for 30 years undefeated. It took the indirect rule system before we could rule you, people, indirectly.

In the 1950s, others kept quiet, but you ndị Igbo, led by Nnamdi Azikiwe, used the same English language we taught him to write against us and sent us packing not only from Nigeria, but from West Africa. He awakened Africa through his newspaper and created figures like Kwame Nkrumah. Where did Nelson Mandela hide when he came to Nigeria, if not in Igboland?

During the Biafra war, we thought we could sweep you people away with police action; we suggested it to Gowon, and to our surprise, you ndị Igbo held on for 3 years. It took our supply of weapons, bringing in bombers from Egypt and Russia, and also a blockade before we could defeat you, people. In difficulties, you Ndi Igbo produced Ogbunigwe, fighter jets, flew your aeroplanes, maintained your telecoms, and fuel Nigeria couldn't refine up to this day; you ndị Igbo refined under bombardment and never suffered fuel scarcity. Tell me why we won't be against you people. Tell me why we will not give Ahmadu Bello prime minister and Zik a ceremonial president. We can't hand Nigeria our colony to such people. No way.

We made sure Biafra was b0mbed into the Stone Age. We b0mbed churches, farmlands, schools, refugee camps and residential houses, but go to that your land after just 20 years; you rebuilt without government aid. We took all your bank money and gave 20 pounds to a few who could provide their papers, but today you ndị Igbo have taken over businesses in Nigeria. You guys have bought almost all of Abuja and Lagos. Even when we illegally demolish your properties using our willing tools in Nigeria, you are still buying.

We denied you everything, including seaports, yet you are on top. Who does that? Who?

Now every ethnic group in Nigeria is comfortable with the bad things happening in Nigeria; only the Igbo people are agitating to leave Nigeria. Mazi Nnamdi Kanu has been in detention for five years, and he has refused to give up. In 1960 it was Nnamdi. In 2026 it is still Nnamdi. Why not Musa? Why not Awolowo? Others are our willing tools. Only the Igbo man has refused to bend. We have made sure we denied you people infrastructure. We denied you people the office of the president. Yet you people are waxing stronger. Then what will happen if we let you people be president or leave Nigeria? You people will not just become the Japan of Africa. You guys will become more than that.

And you, as an Igbo man, still wonder why we are against all of you. Like seriously?

If you are Igbo and this impressed you, kindly foll0w my page Elochukwu Ohagi Official

Wawa Barracks Is Not Detention. It Is A Slaughterhouse With Paperwork

At least eight Igbo civilians, Judeo-Christian abductees taken from their homes in the South East since 2021, were dragged hundreds of kilometers away to Wawa Military Cantonment in Niger State. Their names deserve to be said out loud, not buried in a report nobody reads. Chidiebere Luke Echefu. Chidiebere Christian Ugwu. Nnabuike Romanus Erikeigwe. Ferdinand Uchenna Ede. Azoribe Samuel Onu. Ndukwe Kalu Iroha. Okolo Godwin Ejiofor. Abel Onyekachi Michael. Ordinary Igbo names, ordinary Igbo sons, taken from their homeland and buried in a military facility in the North where their own families cannot easily reach them, cannot easily fund a defense, cannot easily demand answers.

This June, according to a 31-page report from the Ekwenche Research Institute and Intersociety, these men were finally brought to trial after years of disappearance. But this was not justice. They were coerced, pressured, told that pleading guilty to IPOB membership could secure their release or clemency. Some believed it. Some took that offer in desperation after years of being buried alive in a facility far from home. And what did that desperation earn them? Twenty years. Life imprisonment. The very sentences they were told pleading guilty would help them avoid.

This is not an isolated cruelty. Ozioma Elizabeth Onyeaka disappeared from Anambra State in 2020. Five years. Five years before she was even traced to Wawa. Five years of a family not knowing if their daughter was alive, only to learn she had been sitting in a military cantonment the entire time, still on trial, still without resolution.

And it does not stop there. Barrister Awoke Pius, abducted by State Security Service operatives in 2021 alongside eight others, was eventually released in 2024. What did he come back and tell the world? That many Igbo civilian detainees abducted from the East have died inside Wawa Military Cantonment. That eight people arrested alongside him have never been located alive. Read that again. Never located alive. Not released. Not transferred. Simply gone, swallowed by a system that answers to no one.

Intersociety's findings go further still, alleging that this is not a series of isolated incidents but a pattern, false labeling, mass and class criminalization, ethno-religious profiling, entire families in the South East now refusing to let their children enlist in the Nigerian military because of what this pattern has revealed about how the state treats its own Igbo citizens. Tens of thousands of families, according to the report, have made that choice. Think about what it means for a government when its own citizens no longer trust it enough to let their children serve it.

This is what they do not want the world to look at closely. Not IPOB as an organization, not Kanu's court case alone, but a documented, named, dated pattern of Igbo civilians disappeared from their homeland, shipped North, coerced into confessions, and in some cases never seen alive again. This is happening in 2026. Not during the w@r. Not in some distant decade we are told to forget. Now.

Every name in that report is someone's son, someone's brother, someone's husband. Every year they spend in that cantonment is a year stolen not just from them, but from every family waiting by a phone that never rings with good news.

Share this. Say their names. A government that disappears its citizens and calls it national security is not protecting Nigeria. It is burying the truth in a facility hundreds of kilometers from the people who deserve to know it.
