JIEPS FACT #64
‎
🛑 ‎Why Are You Touching The Wall Again? I Thought You Already Finished It.” 👀😂
‎
‎But sometimes, finishing a wall is not just about putting material on it.
‎
‎After the work, I still need to look closely.
‎
‎Check the texture✅
‎Check the edges✅
‎Check the corners✅
‎Check for areas that need correction✅
‎
‎That final inspection can be the difference between “it’s okay” and “this work is properly finished.”
‎
‎A professional shouldn't be afraid to look at his own work twice👌

How can you identify a bad finishing job? 👀

Don’t just look at the colour❌

Look closely at the wall🤨

Can you see uneven areas?
Poor edges?
Different textures?
Cracks or patches showing through?

Sometimes, a wall can look beautiful from far away… but tell a different story when you get closer. 😏

🟨 JIEPS FACT #63

“It’s Just Water… Why Are You Worried?”
💧👀
....Because sometimes, water is exactly what can expose a poor wall finish.

A freshly finished TYROLEAN wall needs the right time to dry and condition cure properly.

If you rush the process or ignore moisture, you may later see changes in colour, stains, or other finishing problems 📌

That’s why I don't just look at how beautiful the wall is today.

I also think about how it will look after the rain comes and go🥺

Good work is not only about the finish you see now.
It’s about how that finish stands over time.

🟨 JIEPS FACT #62

❌ WHY ARE YOU MAKING HOLES IN A PERFECTLY GOOD WALL?” 😅

That’s a question I’ve heard on site before.

Sometimes a wall looks smooth, strong and perfectly finished—but that doesn’t mean Tyrolean will hold properly on it.

Especially when the surface has been screeded or coated with materials that make bonding difficult👌

That’s when we may need to hack, puncture or roughen the surface before spraying.

It may look like we are damaging the wall…

But we are actually preparing it to hold the Tyrolean properly✅✔️

👉: Good finishing starts with good preparation. 👌🏽
