A child from my formal place of work called me and said, Ms. Favour why didn't you tell us you were leaving, why didn't you let us know that you won't be finishing the term with us after promising us to be with us till we finish

Omo I won't lie, tears dropped from my eyes. Everything happens for a reason, and I am grateful that I am in a better place

I am not just a teacher to my students and pupils, I am their best friend,gist partner, second mother and big sister. Yes I am in pain that I didn't stay as promised but am happy I left and also happy I made an impact in their lives

I am a proud teacher, my last born or daughter just made my night

DEAR PERFECT FOR ME

I don't know your name yet, or what your smile looks like when you're happy, but I already know I'm praying for you. Even before we meet, my heart holds space just for you.

I wonder what you're doing right now,what dreams you're chasing, what lessons life is teaching you, and how your journey is shaping you into the man I'll one day call mine.

I hope you're becoming more of who created you to be, just as I'm learning to grow, stretch and prepare myself to love you well

I may not know the timing when our paths will finally cross, but I believe with all my heart that when it happens, it will be worth every moment of the wait. Until then, I'm learning to love God first, to love myself fully, and to trust his plans even when I can't see it

When we finally meet, I hope we will walk side by side with honesty, kindness, and a deep sense of purpose. I hope we laugh loudly, pray often and build something that reflects the grace we've been given.

ONE OF THE LESSONS I LEARNED FROM MY PARENTS

Growing up as a pastor's daughter taught me a lot

First is the fact that we must be the first to go to Church and the last to leave church because they are to foot out bills
My parents made sure we learnt how to go for an event or church activities on time, like you must be there before the events start and stays still it finishes
I remember days my mum will lock me and my sister outside to dress because we are wasting her time, like you are dressing in the compound not in the house 😭😭😭😭😭 everybody saw my nakedness 😞😞😞😞 or days she will be counting minutes for I and my sister to come out of the bathroom because nah there we dey tell all our story's,sing all our songs and quarrel on top 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This how many years I have been out of their roof but the Morals and everything haven't left me Prob 22:6. To my work, I leave my house by 6:44 that I left over late is 6:50 and I do be in school before 7:15, both my social activities and church I no dey go late. Those that have visited me do complain because I always shout if am late for service or any event. Morals matters
There's is word my daddy will always tell us, he said and I quote, " If they said that the president was coming to our church next week Sunday, most of us will sleep in the church or we will even leave our houses 5:00 am because we want to be seated before the arrival of Mr president, then what happened to him that created Mr president". The funny thing is that, I have been growing with this and it has helped and also shaped a lot in my life.

DOES IT COUNT

Yesterday I was having a conversation with a close friend and all of a sudden she shouted FAVOUR AM BROKEN, out of curiosity I asked her what was the matter and she said, the more she grows, the more she loses her friends

The truth is everyone is not meant to be in your circle, once their mission or assignments are completed, they will go for good. Everyone has a specific role they play in your life and once they are through that's the end

As we have long term goals, that's how we have long time friends. Friends that stay with you for Long are friends of LIKE MINDS, friends that share the same value with you. Yes let's be honest and sincere, it hurts to lose friends, learn to know when there time is up

Friends that stay long are friends that have passed through the test of time. So it doesn't really matter who leaves you, what matters is the values and lessons learnt during that period. Remember that every disappointment is a blessing

Dear lady where is your self worth. How can you be having an affair with a man on the road (Ki☹️😞ng and doing other funny things), what happened to hotels and houses

There are things we should be bigger than, having an affair with someone you are not married to or even dating

How do you end up being so cheap that anything that passes must have an affair with you, where is your self worth I ask again

Why we end up with people we do is because we have not discovered ourselves, because if you, you will know that not everyone is worth your time and space. I COME IN PEACE

I didn't know that I can open up to people until I met my mentor 😭😭😭 because of children experience and pains, I decided to walk around with the pains and disturb no one.

Favour is one person that tells you she's fine but deep down a lot is going on in her life, but when I met my mentor a lot of that changed.
