*CONSISTENCY IN SEEKING THE LORD*
_(A Special End-of-Year Teaching for December 2025)_
Text: Luke 18:1 โ โMen ought always to pray, and not to faint.โ
*INTRODUCTION*
We have come to December 2025, the final month of the year, a season of deep reflection, spiritual stock-taking, and prophetic alignment. As the year draws to an end, it becomes clear that your level of consistency in seeking the Lord from January until now has shaped the victories, lessons, and outcomes you experienced.
December is not just the last month; it is the spiritual gateway that ushers you into the prophetic possibilities of the coming year. And God is calling us to end 2025 with heightened consistency, in prayer, in the Word, in worship, in consecration, and in obedience.
Luke 18:1 comes alive more clearly in this season: โMen ought ALWAYS to prayโฆโ, especially in a month like December when many become relaxed, distracted, or spiritually tired.
*1. DECEMBER: A MONTH THAT REVEALS YOUR SPIRITUAL CONSISTENCY*
Consistency is not measured in one day; it is measured across seasons. December tests your spiritual stamina because:
a. It is the busiest month:
Activities increase, family gatherings, ceremonies, travels, and celebrations often reduce spiritual commitment. Only the disciplined remain consistent.
b. It is the most spiritually sensitive month:
Warfare increases at yearโs end (Psalm 91:5โ6). Many strange attacks, sudden losses, and unexpected tragedies happen in December because demonic altars fight hard to finish the year with casualties.
c. It is the month of harvest:
What you sowed spiritually from January to November begins to show. Consistency brings reward; inconsistency brings regret.
*2. CONSISTENCYโTHE SECRET OF FINISHING THE YEAR WELL*
a. Consistency breaks end-of-year battles:
The enemy targets weary believers in December. Consistency in prayer and the Word keeps your fire burning and your spirit alert (Matthew 26:41).
b. Consistency positions you for divine direction for 2026:
God does not speak clearly to distracted spirits. Consistent seekers receive clear instructions for the new year (Isaiah 30:21).
c. Consistency preserves your testimony:
Many people start well but end weak. God wants you to finish 2025 strong, sharp, discerning, and spiritually alive.
*3. WHAT THE HOLY SPIRIT IS EMPHASIZING TO BELIEVERS THIS DECEMBER 2025*
a. โDo not faint nowโ:
Jesus spoke this in Luke 18:1 knowing that people often faint at the end. Your breakthrough season always tests your consistency.
b. โSeek Me until your spiritual gates openโ:
This December, heaven is calling for deeper intimacy.
Not casual seeking. Not emotional seeking.
Persistent, consistent pursuit.
c. โRebuild the altars you abandoned in the yearโ:
Some believers started 2025 with fire but lost it. This month is Godโs mercy window to rebuild before 2026 opens.
*4. LESSONS FROM THE PARABLE (Luke 18:1โ8) FOR DECEMBER 2025*
a. Persistence can reverse any long-standing situation before the year ends:
Like the widow, this is your moment to push again in prayer.
b. Delay is not denialโespecially at yearโs end:
God often completes unfinished miracles in December so that His name receives honor.
c. Consistent faith is heavenโs requirement for crossing into a new year:
Jesusโ question, โShall He find faith?โ is heavenโs December question.
*5. AREAS YOU MUST BE INTENTIONALLY CONSISTENT IN THIS DECEMBER*
a. Consistency in Prayer:
End-of-year altars must be stronger than beginning-of-year altars.
Set a daily prayer time. Guard it jealously.
b. Consistency in Thanksgiving:
December is a dangerous month to complain. Gates open by praise (Psalm 100:4).
c. Consistency in Purity and Holiness:
Unresolved sins open doors for December attacks. Close every door.
d. Consistency in the Word:
Let no day of December pass without Scripture.
Build spiritual immunity for 2026.
e. Consistency in giving and generosity:
December sacrifices carry prophetic power (Psalm 126:6).
*6. THE DANGERS OF INCONSISTENCY IN DECEMBER*
a. You may enter the new year empty:
Spiritual emptiness at crossover is dangerous.
b. You become vulnerable to sudden attacks:
Inconsistency lowers your defenses.
c. You miss divine direction:
The last instructions for the year determine the first victories of the new year.
d. You delay 2026 breakthroughs:
God never rewards inconsistency.
*7. PRACTICAL DECEMBER 2025 ACTION PLAN FOR CONSISTENCY*
1. Fix a December prayer watch (morning or night).:
Even if it is 30โ45 minutes daily.
2. Read at least one chapter of the Gospels or Psalms daily.
3. Take a 3โday personal retreat before the year ends.
4. Forgive all hurts before December 31st.
5. Sow a December thanksgiving seed.
6. Write your spiritual lessons from 2025.
7. Write down specific prayer expectations for 2026.
*CONCLUSION*
December is not the month to relax. It is the month to refire so that you can finish strong. Luke 18:1 becomes your anchor as 2025 closes:
*โMen ought ALWAYS to pray, and not to faint.โ*
_*If you remain consistent in this last month:*_
โ battles will bow,
โ closed doors will open,
โ divine instructions will be clear,
โ and 2026 will meet you spiritually prepared.
*PRAY THIS PRAYER:*
Father, in this last month of 2025, ignite in me the fire of consistency. Strengthen my prayer life, revive my altar, sharpen my discernment, and cause me to finish this year in victory. Let December be my month of spiritual renewal, divine encounters, and supernatural preservation, In Jesusโ Name, Amen.
