I attended one of Chioma of Data Entry Academy trainings some time ago, in Abuja.
And I walked out of that training looking at business differently.
She spoke about building a business that consistently makes sales.
If you have followed her, you agree with me, that she is the queen of numbers.
If you don’t have ways to constantly put yourself out there for people to see you and your business, then that’s not a business yet!
Consistent sales is the goal!
After the training, I got home and started thinking about my own business.
Until then, making a sale had always felt like the goal.
Now, I keep asking myself a different question.
“What am I putting in place today that will make the next sale easier than the last one?”
As a real estate broker, I sell a high-ticket product.
People don’t wake up and buy land the way they buy bread.
So my job is not only to wait for buyers.
My job is to keep showing up.
To keep teaching.
To keep building trust.
To keep putting myself in front of the people I want to serve.
So that when they’re ready to invest, they already know who to call.
That’s a system.
Sometimes people say,
“I’ve only made two sales this month.”
What usually comes to my mind is,
What have you changed?
Because if nothing has changed, it’s difficult to expect a completely different result.
Whether you sell properties...
Clothes...
Food...
Or offer a service...
There comes a point where you stop chasing individual sales and start building a business that keeps attracting customers.
Those are two different things.
Do not just set a bigger sales target.
Look closely at your business.
How are people finding you?
Why should they trust you?
What are you doing consistently that keeps you in their minds?
Sometimes, the businesses making the biggest numbers are not doing anything magical.
They’ve simply built systems that keep working, long after the excitement of one sale is gone.
