CHEERS TO A NEW DECADE AND AN AWESOME BEGINNING.....

PHOENIX
Old and grey as she shook
wings so droopy like a drenched bird
staring into the skies for signs
and silence took over like a hook
nothing seems so magical
the blue sky seems grey
no silver linen so theatrical
to redeem her from her fears
the end seems near
nothing else to bear
she longs for a burden relief
as she holds tightly to her beliefs
shorter could be the day
but she would rise from her ashes
a rebirth to rewrite her story
a phoenix in her glory.

It's a man's world!
A world full of male masculinity
A world which projects their ideas
A world with much ado
A world that expresses harsh sarcasm
A world that silences the female voice
A world which ridicules sensibility
A world which exist
A world that has so much backlash
A world which is slowly dying
A world which still has vigor
A world which is struggling
A world with every strengths gone
A world that eventually died!
