Yesterday, the leadership of YSN Ondo state paid a courtesy visit to the department of surveying and geo informatics at the Rufus giwa polytechnic Owo, (RUGIPO) and The Federal University of Technology Akure, (FUTA).
The delegation ably led by the state Chair, Surv A.P Agboola mnis interacted with the HODs and students of the two great institutions.
The purpose of the visit was:
1. To ignite collaboration between YSN , the departments and students at large.
2. To enlighten and encourage the students on surveying profession.
3. To provide platform for mentorship, capacity building and exchange of ideas and knowledge.
The delegation was warmly received by the HOD of the SVG RUGIPO and FUTA in person of Surv Ajirotutu mnis and Dr Surv I.U Nzelibe mnis respectively, they expressed their joy in receiving the delegation and extended the hand of fellowship and collaboration to YSN Ondo state.
The meeting/interaction featured robust and fruitful deliberations with the students of the two institutions on mentorship and capacity building for the Advancement of surveying practice in Nigeria.
On behalf of the delegation and YSN Ondo state, The YSN state chair Surv A.P Agboola mnis appreciated the leadership of the two departments and the students for their hospitality and warm reception.
