So I was really skeptical about posting this video. Even as I type this caption, I still have a few reservations. But the Bible has been one of the books I read the most this year, so it’s no surprise that while I was thinking through new ideas on how to sell Karis Palms Estate, a revelation suddenly stood out to me.

I hesitated because this is coming from a religious standpoint—and the primary purpose of revelation is to reveal Christ. I even paused, wondering if this was the right space to share it. But I couldn’t shake the conviction to post this. Beyond the message in the video, there’s a deep wisdom here for anyone reading this: do not choose after the order of Lot.

Like many people today who are drawn to what looks flashy, glamorous, and luxurious, Lot made the same mistake when he chose S***m and Gomorrah as he parted ways with Abram. God’s design doesn’t always look attractive at first glance, but when all the pieces come together, it reveals a masterpiece.

One of my father’s teachings, Design vs Desire by , shaped my understanding of this truth. Scripture also shows us that many of the great fathers of faith didn’t look like greatness when God called them. They were ordinary men, nothing spectacular on the outside. Yet God’s investment pattern has always remained consistent: He chooses the foolish things of this world to confound the wise.

I believe where we often miss it is in choosing desire over God’s design—and then playing the victim when outcomes don’t align.

2026 will be a great year, but ensure you’re not blindly following the crowd, especially when it concerns your God-ordained destiny.

WHAT IS LUCK?
Luck is technically when preparation meets opportunities. Personally, I believe the place of luck cannot be taken out of the equation as Mr. Tony Elumelu once said. However, how can Luck be democratized?

Well, I had to pull all my thoughts together in writing this, and I really hope you read it till the end.
2022 has been quite a lot, and while one way to look at this year is to look at all the things that did not happen and all the deals that we were unable to close this year. Ohhh! the many things you wished, planned, and prayed you would have achieved this year but well, you they did not just happen.
Now that you are done, sit down. Pen down your losses and also pen down every single win that you enjoyed this year. Now congratulate yourself for doing so much, go on your knees, and appreciate God for every single experience. It takes a lot of gut to lose and win so much. It simply means you are working. The good thing about life is that you can hardly make the same mistake over and over again. See no one ticks all the boxes, but what every new year presents us is HOPE and OPPORTUNITY TO GO AGAIN.
Capitalize on HOPE, decide to maximize every opportunity in this new year, and let God lead the way. It might not come easy, in fact, let us be honest, nothing good comes easy (at least not for everybody😏). Convert your frustration and anger to pure energy that will drive you to achieve all that you desire. Be determined to succeed; change your routine and choose to be accountable to God and find a coach.
