We’re ending this series with two assumptions many buyers still believe 😅👇

❌ “Land titles are transferable automatically.”
❌ “You can start building immediately after purchase.”

Buying land does NOT automatically transfer ownership to your name immediately.
Some lands still require:
✔️ Proper deed of assignment
✔️ Governor’s consent
✔️ Documentation updates
✔️ Official registration

Because if documents still carry another person’s name… wahala fit show later

And please, buying land today doesn’t mean you should start building tomorrow morning with sharp sharp energy 😂

Some lands may still need:
⚠️ Approval verification
⚠️ Building permits
⚠️ Excision confirmation
⚠️ Environmental checks

Before you know it, government officials go arrive your site like surprise visitors

Throughout this series we’ve learned that:
🏡 Fencing is not ownership
🏡 Receipt is not complete title
🏡 “Everybody is buying there” is not verification
🏡 Even government land still requires due diligence

At the end of the day, the safest land buyers are not the fastest buyers… they are the VERIFIED buyers ✅

❌ “Receipt is enough proof of ownership .”

But reality has entered the chat 👇

Just because land came through government allocation doesn’t automatically mean it’s 100% problem-free.

Sometimes there can still be:
⚠️ Revoked allocations
⚠️ Double allocations
⚠️ Administrative mistakes
⚠️ Documentation issues

And please… that receipt you’re proudly snapping is NOT the same as complete ownership o

A receipt only proves:
✅ Payment was made

It does NOT automatically prove:
❌ Legal ownership
❌ Proper title
❌ Secure documentation

Without:

✔️ Proper land records

❌ “Allocation paper is full ownership.”
❌ “I can identify my land boundary with my eyes.”

But here’s the reality 👇

That allocation paper may ONLY show intention or temporary allocation… not complete ownership yet!

Some lands still require:
✔️ Proper documentation
✔️ Verification
✔️ Survey processing
✔️ Government perfection

Because “I get paper” no always mean “I get secure land.” 👀

And about identifying boundaries with your eyes…Land no be “from that mango tree go straight to that goat house.”

But here’s the truth 👇

Buying land involved in court case can affect you directly, even if:
✅ You already paid
✅ You already fenced it
✅ You already started building

Because once judgment enters… “I didn’t know” no dey stop problem

You fit lose:
❌ Your money
❌ Your structure
❌ Your peace of mind

And about roadside land…
Just because your boundary touches the road does NOT mean all the space belongs to you 😅

❌ “Survey and legal checks are too expensive. Just buy the land.”
❌ “The seller is a pastor/chief/celebrity, so the land must be genuine.”

But here’s the truth 👇

Skipping survey and legal verification to “save money” can later cost you:
✅ Court case money
✅ Demolition stress
✅ Family dispute wahala
✅ Double ownership problems

And please… title documents don’t become authentic because a famous person sold the land 😅
Even pastors, chiefs, celebrities, or respected people can unknowingly sell land with issues.

Land does not answer:
❌ “Do you know who sold it?”
Land answers:

✔️ “What is the acquisition status?”
