Who fought for Nigeria independence?
In 1953, Anthony Enahoro initiated the self-government motion in the Western House of Assembly, which eventually led to Nigerian Independence on 1 October 1960.
Being independent gives you the ability to care for yourself -- either emotionally, physically, or financially. As a result, you're in a better situation to asset others. In turn, this increases happiness, promotes a sense of belonging, gives you a sense of purpose, and increases your life satisfaction.
Just thinking 62yrs down the line are we happy, is there a sense of belonging?
Yes.
Discretionary power means the authority, which provides an administrative agency or official with some degree of latitude in regard to choosing the most reasonable decision among several decisions in compliance with public and private interests.
not influenced or controlled by others in matters of opinion, conduct, etc.; thinking or acting for oneself: an independent thinker. not subject to another's authority or jurisdiction; autonomous; free.
Today independent reminds us who we are,a free people that can vote and be voted for. Look at your PVC this morning, kiss it and call it freedom.
