Casting concrete on decking is the process of pouring and spreading fresh concrete over a prepared structural deck—usually reinforced with steel bars—to form a solid slab. Before casting, the decking area is properly cleaned, formwork is secured, and reinforcement is arranged according to design specifications.
During the casting process, concrete is poured evenly across the deck, then spread and compacted (often using vi*****rs) to remove air pockets and ensure proper bonding. The surface is leveled and finished to the required smoothness. Afterward, curing is carried out by keeping the concrete moist for several days to achieve maximum strength and durability.
