3 THINGS I WISH I KNEW BEFORE BECOMING A REALTOR
Most times we share beautiful stories of wins and wins.
But only a few share the down side.
If you are a newbie realtor, read this post
People say experience is the best teacher but interestingly, other people’s experience is the best teacher.
So let’s get right in
📌 Creating a niche: when I started, I couldn’t build a niche. I remember when I posted a house for sale in Lagos.
As I write now, I can only laugh at my ignorant self.
I also posted pictures of lands, houses, terraces seven individual properties.
Guess what? I didn’t sale not even one.
Who buys from a confused realtor 😂
📌Managing my Expectations: Did you know that I nearly had high blood pressure.
Clients said I will get back to you to me to the point that I will cry.
I thought that once you tell a client about land they pay immediately.
There are moments I spent my commission before client will even agree to pay.
This life ehh 🙆🏼♀️🙆🏼♀️
📌 Freelancing: you may not agree with this but like I said, learn from my experience.
You don’t need to be every where or on every company’s property.
Choose a brokerage or company that resonates with you and build.
A company that invest in trainings either offline or online.
Learn as much as possible , build network of successful realtors.
