Do you know you can sell more of your products or services when you focus on what people feel and want?
This is obtainable only when you start speaking to their emotions.
Always use strong words that gives them confidence in choosing you.
Yes, we know you're the best fashion designer in town. You sow nice dresses. Also people know you deal on household appliances. They can get any type of appliances when visit you outlet but despite all these features, it's never enough until you work on their emotions.
Now, here is how you can win those customers to buy from you same product they can get from Mr A even at a cheaper price.
1. Don't sell , sell and instead:
Dear Chinenyenwa, instead of focusing on the features and specs, tap into the customer's feelings and desires. For example say you are a fashion designer. Rather than just listing the materials and measurements of a dress. You emphasize more on how the customer will feel confident, beautiful and stylish when wearing the it.
"This dress will make you shine at the party and turn heads"
2. Don't Let Your Prospects Lead the Conversation.:
Take control of the conversation to guide the customer towards a sale.
E.g as a fashion designer, you ask your customer some questions like; "what's your style" "what event are you dressing for? “. This question is to guide him / her towards finding the p outfit rather than allowing them browsing styles online.
3. Push Emotional Trigger and find out Where it Hurts :
Identify and press on the emotional sin points or desires that motivate the client.
For instance, you are a financial advisor and you ask your client his concern regarding his children's education , then presents a financial plan to addresses those concerns.
Or as a seamstress, you ask customers about their past experiences with fashion. Like " you've been struggling to find clothes that fit your style?/ you have always wanted to look like a supermodel? This create a personal connection.
4. Use Powerful Words and Build Massive Certainty Inside The Customer's Minds:
Use persuasive language to create confidence and certainty in their minds. How?
For instance, as a salesperson using phrases like "limited-time offer" or exclusive deal" creates a sense of urgency and confidence in the product /service value.
Proitize emotional connections over logical appeals. By you tapping into customers emotion and desires, taking control of conversation, and using powerful language, you can build certainty and drive sales. Sales success lies in understanding human emotions and desires.
