Sometimes, the customer may be mistaken. Sometimes, there may be information they don’t have. And sometimes, the solution they want may not be the right one.

What matters is how we handle that moment.

Listen without being dismissive.
Explain without being defensive.
Correct without making the customer feel small.
And solve the problem whenever you can.
