The long holiday break is upon us again, and as parents, I believe we have fun activities lined up for the kids to keep them fully engaged and busy.
If you are confused on what skill or activities to engage your kids in, I've made this simple list to help you choose. Some of these activities are free to do, some you can simply learn on YouTube and others you will need to spend some money.
1. Travelling - it must not be Zanzibar, you can start within your country and visit places that holds historical relevance.
2. Swimming - start building up their live skills
3. Financial literacy class - start teaching your kids how money works.
4. Public speaking and communication class
5. Purity and Etiquette class
6. Calligraphy lessons on YouTube
7. Crochet/knitting
8. Take them to your shop or office to know how the real world works
9. Let them visit the bank with you and fill a simple bank slip. It will shock you that most adults don't know how to do this.
10. Sewing lessons
11. AI literacy class
12. Sports activities like sprinting, football, volleyball etc.
13. Let them play outside with your supervision.
12. Cooking and baking class.
13. Video editing class. Let them make a simple video and learn how to edit on capcut.
14. In house karaoke 🎤
15. Reading and spelling challenge
16. Let them learn any musical instrument
17. Teach them about their family tree and let them connect with other extended family members.
18. Teach them how to tell the time.
19. Painting and drawing lessons on YouTube
20. Make a simple Craft like beading, paper crafts etc. Use Pinterest for inspiration and the learn on YouTube.
NB:but if you child, is 5yrs and below no stress that child, just teach him or her how to sweep and arrange her cloth,wash dishes and also cooking.
There are lots of fun activities to engage your kid with. Don't be a boring parent this holiday😆 The Lord is your strength.
