THE WATER YOU BUILD WITH DETERMINES THE QUALITY OF YOUR BUILDING

It seems a norm to use any kind or type of water for construction projects.

A local builder will tell you using clean drinkable water is unnecessary demand, and make do with even mud water with a justification that, its for mortar work, no need for clean water.

Imagine these brown water mixed with concrete or mortal. That will be 5% silt added to your concrete or mortal.

As much as you won't use expired cement for your project, you shouldn't use poor water, you can’t use just any water for your building. Just because a particular water is available around you, does not mean its content is good for building works in any form, be it mortal or concrete mixing, clean water is a requisite for good building construction.

WATER FOR CONCRETE AND MASONRY WORKS MUST BE CLEAN AND FREE FROM HARMFUL MATTER.

SUCH AS DETRIMENTAL CONCENTRATIONS OF ACIDS, ALKALIS, SALTS, SUGAR AND OTHER ORGANIC OR CHEMICAL SUBSTANCES THAT COULD IMPAIR THE DURABILITY AND STRENGTH OF THE CONCRETE OR THE IMBEDDED STEEL.

FOR REINFORCED CONCRETE, THE CHLORIDE CONTENT OF THE MIXING WATER SHALL NOT EXCEED 500mg/l

This is why you cant just use any water for your project but a clean, drinkable water.

Several things determines the strength and fitness of your building project, one of them is the block, used for block work in the construction.

DONT REMAIN A TENANT
Many people are tenant today, just because they failed to secure certain land at certain time considering it, still very undeveloped, far inside bush! And today they are tenant in that very axis, now developed and busy.

I visited a site where I worked like three years ago, I outrightly missed my way, because the development was just too rapid, everywhere is changed. And I can remember having concern for the aged woman that was going to be living there, as there was bush everywhere with just three houses in all of the area.

Also I visited a place where I grew up, I couldn't believe my eyes, an area that used to be distant farm for real farmers, deep into forest, infact I can't forget an incidence of a farmer, being attacked by a wild animal (esi) but rescued by an hunter. That deep forest is now filled with giant and beautiful structures, I was awed to my marrow, twas so unbelievable to me.

And I felt, imagine I have acres of farmland here back then, I would count millions now o.

There is no forest anywhere, in a twinkling of an eyes, that forest is turned to city, and the value will be in multiples, if you are not very rich, you will not be able to afford a plot there.

And this has kept many to remain a tenant because the places they can afford are still deep in bush, and this go on and on, till their productive years pass or the time their finances blossom pass.

We deeply love our children and will sacrifice our all to give them the very best in life.
Education is vital, nurturing is necessary, but the fear of God surpasses all.

As rightly said, the fear God is the beginning of wisdom... wisdom will keep you, discretion will preserve you... keep sound wisdom and discretion...so shall they be life to your soul and grace to your neck...what a necessity!
