Have you ever just sat down and asked yourself why billionaires are always comfortable borrowing money? I mean, they carry loans like it’s nothing. Let me explain it to you in a very simple way.
Debt is not something they fear at all. In fact, for them, debt is a tool. It’s something they use to make even more money.
Now picture this. You go to the bank and borrow ₦100 million. The bank tells you to pay just ₦3 million every year as interest. No wahala. Then you now take that borrowed money and put it into something solid that gives you twelve million every year.
Think about it. You’re paying only three, but you’re making twelve. That’s a ₦9 million profit without touching your own money. That’s not debt. That one is smart business. That’s how the rich move.
You see, most regular people are focused on clearing loans fast. But wealthy people are not in a hurry at all. Because they know that money in hand is power. Instead of rushing to pay off the loan, they will carry that money and invest it again and again.
Sometimes they borrow against things like real estate or company shares that are already going up in value. And they’re not selling it. They’re just using it as collateral so they won’t pay tax on it yet.
It’s not luck. It's a strategy. They know exactly what they’re doing. Debt is not their enemy. It’s their ally. And the earlier we learn how they think, the better for us.
