Di National Orientation Agency (NOA) don hail di Imo State govment for dia recent decision to ban graduation parties for kindergarten, nursery, primary, and junior secondary schools students.

For one statement, di Director General of di agency Lanre Issa-Onilu say di policy na correct step to reduce di excesses wey dey follow dis ceremonies.

Imo State Ministry of Education say di only class wey fit do graduation ceremony na students wey dey primary 6 and SS 3.

Di state commissioner for education, Prof. Bernard Ikegwuoha say di reason dem ban am na for di students, parents, guardians and di school to focus on di academic achievements of di students for di end of dia primary and secondary school education cycles.
