Taraba APC Congress:Hon Jerry Hails Peaceful Conduct,urges Support for New Leadership

The Special Adviser to Gov Agbu Kefas on Transportation, Honorable Jerry Tyolanga JP has commended the peaceful/successful conduct of the just concluded All Progressives Congress (APC)State Congress in Taraba.

Hon Jerry described the exercise as the most fair, peaceful and balanced given the fact that the sharing formula captured all the three Senatorial Zones and Local Government Areas of the State.

According to him,the conduct of the congress through consensus was a very wise decision as it gave room for proper sharing of positions across the Zones and LGAs of the State.

"If the Congress was conducted through open balloting,some LGAs,ethnic groups and religious groups may not have gotten positions and this would have created issues in our party but now that is by consensus, everyone is recognized,"he stated.

He praised His Excellency,Dr Agbu Kefas for demonstrating wisdom in handling party affairs and called on stakeholders and Tarabans to continue to support him to enable him deliver on his core mandate of moving the State and the APC forward.

Similarly,he appealed to all APC members including the aggrieved parties to see reasons to support Bawa's leadership for the common good of the party adding that, leadership is given by God to whoever He wishes.
