Saturday 9th, May, 2026 was indeed a moment of pride, unity, and celebration as the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, Kaduna State Branch successfully hosted the Grand Homecoming & Welcome Party in honour of our own:

27th President & Chairman of Council, NIESV.

The event witnessed the presence of National Officers, Council Members,, Elders, Past Chairmen, Fellows, Members, Sister Branches, Professional Colleagues, Friends, and well-wishers who came out in large numbers to celebrate this historic achievement — the emergence of the first President produced by the Kaduna State Branch.

The evening was filled with goodwill messages, networking, appreciation, and an overwhelming show of love and support for the President and the Branch.

The Kaduna State Branch led by the Chairman ESV ISHAQ AYODEJI BELLO FNIVS MDS sincerely appreciates everyone who contributed, supported, and honoured the occasion with their presence. Your solidarity and commitment made the event a huge success.

*KADA NIESV UPDATE*

Earlier today, the President and Chairman of Council of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, *ESV. Mallam Bature Ali Mohammed, PNIVS, pslc, FCIA*, led a high-powered delegation on a courtesy visit to the Palace of the Emir of Zazzau. The delegation comprised esteemed members of the profession, including BOT member *ESV. (Chief) Ishaya Idi, FNIVS*, several Past Chairmen, Branch Chairmen, Elders, Fellows, and other key stakeholders of the Branch.

The team was warmly received by *His Royal Highness, Mallam Ahmed Nuhu Bamalli*, who welcomed the delegation with great hospitality at his Palace. During the engagement, the Emir graciously pledged his continued support to the Institution. He further assured members of his readiness to identify with and advocate for the noble profession whenever called upon, reinforcing the bond between the Emirate and the Institution.

In a remarkable gesture of goodwill, His Highness personally conducted the delegation on a guided tour of the Palace grounds. The visit showcased several historic and iconic landmarks, including the museum, library, and entertainment centers, as well as the original palace structures. The delegation was also briefed on ongoing construction works and shown the proposed designs for the new palace development.
This tour provided our members with invaluable insights into the rich history, cultural heritage, and architectural significance of the Zazzau Emirate.

In his response, *ESV. Chief Ishaya Idi, FNIVS* expressed profound gratitude to the Emir. He pledged the Institution’s unwavering support toward the Emirate, noting that members are committed to contributing their professional expertise toward the continued development and preservation of the Palace.

The visit was a resounding success—insightful, memorable, and instrumental in further strengthening the cordial relationship between our Institution and the revered traditional stool of the Zazzau Emirate.

With great pride and gratitude, we successfully celebrated Valuation Day 2026 under the theme:
“Unlocking Nigeria’s Wealth: How Valuation Builds Our Prosperity.”

From our insightful Radio Programme on Liberty Radio 91.7FM to the highly visible and energetic Road Walk across Kaduna, the message was not only heard—it was seen and felt.

The massive turnout of members, dressed in unity and purpose, was truly inspiring. The road walk was more than just a procession—it was a bold statement of our relevance, professionalism, and collective strength as Estate Surveyors and Valuers
As we moved through the city, engaging the public and raising awareness, we reinforced a simple but powerful truth: valuation is central to economic growth, transparency, and wealth creation.

This year’s celebration went beyond formality—it created visibility, sparked conversations, and strengthened our identity as nation builders bridging the gap between assets and prosperity.

On Saturday 25th April, 2026, the President and Chairman of Council of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers, *ESV. (Mallam) Bature Ali* *Mohammed, PNIVS, FCIA, pslc,*in the distinguished company of the Branch Chairman *ESV. Ishaq* *Ayodeji Bello FNIVS,* Past Chairmen, Elders, Fellows, and Members of the Kaduna State Branch, graced the auspicious turbaning ceremony of *ESV* . ( *Mallam) Balarebe Anas Ibrahim, FNIVS in the ancient town of Zaria.

He was conferred with the revered traditional title of *Barden* *Gundumar Rigasa /*Barden Dan Galadiman Zazzau* by the Maigirima Dan Galadiman Zazzau - *Arc. Mohammed Aminu* *Idris* , mni, .

The event was a rich display of Northern Nigerian culture and tradition, marked by dignity, honor, and deep-rooted heritage. The turbaning ceremony, a time-honoured institution, symbolizes recognition of integrity, service, and commitment to community development. It featured vibrant cultural expressions, traditional regalia, and the gathering of respected leaders and stakeholders, reflecting unity, respect for authority, and the preservation of ancestral values.

( MALLAM) BATURE ALI MOHAMMED* *PNIVS, FCIA, Pslc,*

The visit was to formally congratulate him on his emergence as the 27th President and Chairman of the Council of the Nigerian Institution of Estate Surveyors and Valuers.

During the visit, the delegation reaffirmed the branch’s unwavering support and readiness to collaborate with his administration in advancing the goals and strengthening the impact of the Institution.

It was a moment of unity, commitment, and renewed dedication to the growth and excellence of NIESV.
