Three Years Pregnancy
Episode 2
He roared at Amanda’s mother and rushed into the kitchen. Coming back with a rubber filled with hot water.
“I told you to leave my house!” But you insisted on joking with my temper. Now I will show you that I am not joking. When I said leave my house, I meant!!” Mr. Jerry shouted why he rushed out of the kitchen with the hot water filled in the bucket he was holding.
Amanda noticed the hot water in the bucket and quickly began to plead with her husband as he approached their side.
“No! Honey this is not fair!” Please don’t do this. Honey! Honey! Honey please am begging you with the name of God we all serve. Okay she will be leaving now!” Please don’t pour her the hot water!” Amanda said!
She was talking faster to her husband. Because she saw the anger written all over his face as he approached them with the hot water.
“If you open your mouth again to call me honey one more time, I will make sure you don’t live to tell the story! You are a disgrace to me and your mother is the woman who gave birth to that disgrace! Mr Jerry shouted as he quickly moved to their side.
Mama Amanda who was a bit older and could not run faster began to plead with the young man. She could not run away from him because she was not young enough. So she sat and began to plead immediately.
“My son please don’t do that to me. Remember I am old enough to be your mother too. Am sorry for coming to your house. I thought my coming was going to bring…………p”
Amanda’s mother was about finishing her statement when she felt a splash of hot water on her body.
My Jerry didn’t wait for her to finish her finish her sentence. He interrupted her by pouring the hôt water he was holding on her.
“Nooooooooooo!!!!! Amanda who stood behind scream as she saw her mother screaming in pâin.
“Good for you!” That is for coming to my house without getting a permission from me. Mr. Jerry said.
Then Mr. JERRY poured Mama Amanda another hot wâter again. Putting her in my pain as the water ran through her body.
“Now, that is for giving birth to a woman that has been a disaster to me. I spend my whole money everyday on her. But all she could do was make people mock my family, laugh at me and made me the topic of the week!” Mr Jerry said.
Then he took the rubber back to the kitchen and walk back to the living room to meet them.
Amanda stood silently without uttering a word that might trigger her husband to hurt her too.
And you! Amanda. Don’t let me set my eyes on your mother one more time. This is just a warning to you to take her away from my house. Next time. It won’t be funny!! Mr Jerry said. While pointing directly to his wife. Then he went away to his room.
Immediately Mr Jerry left, Amanda quickly rushed her mother who was already in pain.
“Mama! Mama! Mama! Look at me? Mama can you see me ? Amanda asked.
But Amanda’s mother was just bending down her head. While relaxing on the couch. She was not moving her body or arms.
This situation put Amanda to fears. “Mama please!” She said and raised her head up. Her mother’s eyes were still open and she was still alive but could not move her body due to pain and burn from the hot wâter poured on her.
“Mama please stay with me!” Amanda said and rushed into the kitchen. She came back with a cold water and began using it to massage her mother’s body.
Then after a few minutes she took her mother to the hospital because there was no improvement. Her mother was still weak.
While the doctor was running some checks on mama Amanda’s body. Amanda was outside the hospital waiting for her friend to come meet her.
After a few minutes, Angela’ Amanda’s friend came to meet her at the hospital.
Ah, Amanda’ the way you called me to come and meet you here at the hospital. I thought maybe you put to birth and you want to surprise me!” Angela said.
“No!, it my husband again. He poured my mom a bucket of hot water because she came visiting without his permission. Amanda said to her friend.
Angela got in shock as she listened to Amanda. “Jesus Christ!!! Amanda your husband is so disrespectful! How can he do that to his in-law?”
“Don’t say that to him, Angela you know that my husband is a peaceful person. All this started after one year of my pregnancy. He is just angry. Amanda said.
“Shut up your mouth, One day. Your husband will end you and we will come to pick your corpse!” Just take a look at what he did to his own in-law? In fact this is becoming too much, we need to take this into law! Angela said to Amanda.
“Angela my husband is a good person. I truly love him and want to spend my whole life with him. Amanda replied.
“Good!! Am tired of explaining to you that you are putting your life to danger because of love. Anyway let go and see your mother in her ward. Angela said.
So they both walked into the hospital room. Angela felt sad after looking at the poor woman. “What a wiçked man. She muttered in her mind.
“Madam, the accident was a serious one. your mother has a serious injury from the accident she had. She was burnt in several part of her body. I will allow you to take her home but make sure she is safe by giving her all the drugs and using cold water on her at the main time. Said the doctor and left.
“Mama am sorry about what my husband did to you. It wasn’t his intention. He did it out of anger. Amanda said.
“Oooooooooooo! Not again. Stop supporting your husband. He almost got your mother kilied!” Angela interrupted the conversation.
“My daughter, just take a look at my body and tell me if that man is a truly your husband. Mama Amanda said sadly.
Amanda felt touched from her mother’s question. But still, the love she had for Jerry was taking control of her and couldn’t let her understand that her husband was not good to his mother in-law.
“Mama am sorry. I promise he will change. He is just being angry. It all my fault. I was the one who couldn’t give birth to my baby after one year of being pregnant!” She said.
She checked her time and it says 5:39. So the doctor got them discharged that evening.
“Mama let go home now. You have been discharged.
“Go to which home? Angela asked.
“Am sorry but I can’t allow you take me to your house anymore, since the person I gave my daughter as a wife is now after my own life. Mama replied!
“Mama! It just a coincidence. Trust me he was just angry. Let go home. Amanda convinced.
So Her mother agreed and they went home together while Angela went to her own house too.
As they step inside the house, Amanda saw her husband sitting with his friend together on the couch. Her heart raced immediately. She always feels scared whenever she sees her husband.
Mr Jerry turned and saw Amanda and her mother standing silently. They were both scared and waiting for the next action he might take.
“So you still brought her back to my house ?!!!! After what I did to her you still brought your mother to my house ?
“Honey please! She can’t go back now because she has lot of injuries on her body. The doctor said I need to watch carefully at her until she recovers. Amanda replied.
Soon Mr Jerry began to boil with anger. His body was vibrating. He quickly stood up and wanted to rushed them, but his friend held his arm.
“Jerry you need to calm down. Reduce your anger. In time of anger we can take decisions that we will end up regretting. If you do anything to that woman. You might not go free. Peter, Jerry’s friend said to Jerry.
Then let me regret it!!! These women had the guts to come to my house, after giving me a waste product as a wife. Now look at her with pregnancy for 12 months now!! Jerry said.
“Just allow them be in peace now Jerry!!
*****Meanwhile*****
While that was Happening, Angela, Amanda’s friend. Went to her house and picked up her phone.
She called Mr. Victor. She told him everything that his sister was facing.
“And now your mother is in trouble, if you don’t come down here now, you might come to pick both your mother and your sister’s dead body.
What!! Jerry poured my own mother hot water?. The same man we gave my sister to, as a wife!! Victor roared.
“Exactly, I have to tell you these because I know Amanda will never tell you!” Angela replied.
“Alright, am currently in Abuja now but, first thing tomorrow morning am going to Lagos to meet that shameless man! Who had the gut to treat my mother badly.
“So the next day. Mr Victor, who was Amanda’s first brother. Travel down to Lagos.
Amanda was sitting with her mother inside a separate bedroom. She was rubbing some cold water on the affected area of her mother’s body, just as the doctor instructed.
But soon she began to hear some scream, coming from the living room. It was her husband voice. It looked like he was quarreling with somebody. She paid attention to the second voice and got shocked after realizing it was her brother’s voice.
“Mama! Victor is here!!!
“Are you sure?
“Mama Víçtør is here. Oh my God!
Immediately Amanda rushed out with her mother, and found his brother shouting at her husband.
“Young man!! Leave my house now!!! Jerry roared! At Victor.
Victor looking at his mother got very more upset. “I swear to God, if you don’t tell me a good reason why you treated my own mother this way, I will make sure you don’t live to tell the story!! Victor roared back.
“Oh I see maybe you want to face same thing your mother is facing!! I give you 10 seconds to leave this house !!
“Brother, I think you should just go now. And why didn’t you tell me before you came down here. Amanda asked her brother.
“Don’t forget that she is the woman who kept me in her stomach for nine months. Suffered for my sake. I can’t watch you treat her like that. I give you 3 seconds to tell me a good reason why my mother deserves such treatment or I promise you will regret.
“Oh, all these poor men who think they can deal with a rich man, I swear you will be the one to regret it if you don’t leave my house in ten seconds. And you have just 4 more seconds left!!!! Mr Jerry said.
“The both men faced each other, boiling in anger.

Guys So a poor man cannot deal with a rich man ? It sad but the reality. Tell me if it possible.
