As Kwara State prepares for its upcoming political season, the need for a stable, unified, and strategically aligned party structure has never been more apt. To ensure the continued progress of our great party and the nation, we must base our decisions on verifiable electoral realities and a leadership model that resonates with the grassroots across all three senatorial districts.
A review of the 2023 general elections underscores the unwavering loyalty of the Kwara electorate to the APC. Contrary to false narratives, the data confirms a widespread mandate where Kwara South delivered the highest APC vote share at 68.5%, while Kwara North secured a robust 62.1%, and Kwara Central maintained a strong 54.3%.
These figures demonstrate that while each district is vital, Kwara South serves as the fulcrum, a powerhouse of the APC’s electoral strength. This loyalty is rooted in a deep-seated cultural and political alignment with the progressive ideals of your administration, proving that the South is an indispensable pillar of our party's success in the state.
Kwara State’s strength lies in its rich heritage and the indigenous identity that binds its people together. While we celebrate our diversity, the core of Kwara’s political consciousness is deeply rooted in its Yoruba heritage, which stretches across the state from the heart of the Central district to the northern reaches of the state.
