TOPIC: LIVING A COVENANT POWERED LIFE

SCRIPTURE (Exodus 19:5) Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, you shall be my treasured possession among all peoples, for all the earth is mine.

MESSAGE : Happy New Year again and again and welcome to Year 2022 – Our Year of New Dimension. One of the things that will guarantee new dimensions in our life is covenant. A covenant powered life is the life that brings God into any situation at any given time and expects God to act in a predictable manner. When you lack covenant, physical situations will limit your course. A covenant powered life lives in the certainty of God more than in the certainty of life. The covenant doesn't promise a problem free life, but it promises exemption from the calamity and catastrophe of life (See Job 14:1)

Covenant guarantees continuous victory despite the challenges of life (Psalm 34:19). A covenant powered life is a life that exist above satanic aggression and demonic antagonism (Psalm 105:15-16). Covenant is a container of divine rebuke that hinders the devil from touching and assaulting you (Genesis 31:24, 1 Samuel 7:7-13). A covenant powered life is a life above victimization and diabolism. It is a life of perpetual and everlasting prosperity (Genesis 15:18). The covenant extends the goodness of God from generation to generation. When you are in covenant, your children do not suffer (2 Samuel 9:7). Covenant gives you success in excess (Genesis 12:1-2). The covenant guarantees success in multiplication and geometric dimension. It exceeds known and unknown limits (Leviticus 26:9). Covenant empowers you for all-round fruitfulness.

A covenant powered life is a life that guarantees peace and tranquility. Covenant preserves and gives you peace in hostile times. A covenant powered life is a life of great sacrifice. Nothing raises your value before God like sacrifice. In the place of prayer your sacrifice is the vehicle that takes your request to God. When God sees a giver, he is attracted with amazing attraction. Nothing frustrates gang up and conspiracy like sacrifice. Covenant is powered by sacrifice and it makes you survive in the midst of wickedness. Beloved, whenever you give God yourself and everything you own, God then gives you Himself and all the good things of life. Men who function in the covenant have no life of their own (Genesis 22: 16-18).

KEEP IN MIND
A covenant powered life is a life of great sacrifice. Nothing raises your value before God like sacrifice.

TOPIC: HOW TO FINISH STRONG (2)

SCRIPTURE (Isaiah 61:1) The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because He anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; He has sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound.

MESSAGE: Beloved, if you must finish strong this year, you must come out of that heaviness and depression in order for you not to carry over your blessings. The cure for the spirit of heaviness is the garment of praise. The garment of praise is the ability to praise God to a point where the chains are broken (Acts 16:25) and it is a realm where you praise God until destiny strength enters you. You praise Him until the Spirit of Prophecy comes upon and you begin to prophesy!

Have you reached a point where you feel so depressed and discouraged in life? Give praises to God and you will begin to experience His intervention because your praise visits the foundation of your father’s house. When you sacrifice your praise, you surrender your pain. If you praise God despite your pains, God will response to you despite your past and present condition by nullifying your pains. Every true liberty/freedom will bring people out. When the chains on Paul and Silas fell off by virtue of their praise, the Bible said the chains on all the prisoners in that prison fell off also. Halleluyah!!

To finish strong, you must deal with the spirit that drives to isolation. You become unnaturally irritated by people who love you. At this point you no longer appreciate people around you. The spirit of heaviness makes you display an ungrateful attitude towards people even when people are trying their best to please you, you’ll still not appreciate them and these has also crept into the Church. Today, a lot of believers get so offended because all that have been prophesied on them have not come to pass. At that point, the spirit of heaviness makes them not to be grateful to God and even their pastor who has stood beside them, prayed for them all these while are hated and they transfer aggression to everyone around them.

To finish strong, you must deal with any overwhelming sense of hopelessness that wants you to backslide from your faith. This was the same way Job’s wife wanted Job to curse God or backslide from his faith; talking to make Job feel God cannot do anything on his case again. This was because he was filled with the spirit of heaviness. You don’t have a job, but thank God that you have a certificate. You don’t have a car but thank God you have a roof over your head. You do not have a child but thank God you are married. You are not married yet, thank God you are alive. I pray for you, you must finish strong this year in Jesus Name, Amen.

TOPIC: HE IS TOO FAITHFUL TO FAIL YOU

SCRIPTURE "Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego answered and said to the king, O Nebuchadnezzar, we are not careful to answer you in this matter. If it is so, our God whom we serve is able to deliver us from the burning fiery furnace, and he will deliver us out of your hand, O king." Daniel 3:16-17

SCRIPTURE: The story of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego is a classic demonstration of faith and how it eventually rewards. They were put in the fiery furnace for disobeying the king's instructions and stayed true to their God (not bowing to the idol of the king). Even though their lives were at risk for this, they remained strong in their faith, and believed that their God would save them.

God saw the way they demonstrated their uncommon faith in Him and rescued them to reward their boldness and belief.

No matter the circumstances and how hard you find yourself pushed to the wall, know and believe that God is too faithful to rescue you. Our God is faithful to deliver His people who act on faith; even if it doesn't happen the way you picture it, still have faith in God, by believing that He is leading you in His will for your life. This is faith in action that God is pleased with, and always rewards. I have heard about so many people He healed, saved, protected, rescued, raised, delivered, blessed, enlarged and prospered.

HAVE IN MIND
The same God who compensated Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego is ever faithful not to fail you.

TOPIC: RECEIVE YOUR HEALING NOW!!!

SCRIPTURE: "When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick, that it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Isaiah the prophet, saying: He Himself took our infirmities And bore our sicknesses." Matt 8:16-17

MESSAGE: Your days of sickness and disease are over. No matter how long you’ve been struggling, no matter how serious your situation—healing belongs to you. Even if you feel like you have been standing for so long, you are not sure if you will ever see a manifestation—these words are for you. Not only are we to expect healing, but we should also believe to live in divine health. John G. Lake said, “Divine healing is the removal by the power of God of the disease that has come upon the body.

Healing is your Covenant right. If you want it—it is yours. It is not up for debate, as far as the Word of God is concerned. The problem is, most Christians have not truly believed it. They have not let it reach down into their hearts and become truth to them. God has said it…but they have not yet believed. If that is the case with you today, know this—it is God’s will to heal you. It is in His redemptive plan. It has to be His will because He laid our sickness and disease on Jesus, just as He did our sin (Isaiah 53:5). God made His Word plain, and He always keeps His Word.

To receive healing, you must make the truth of healing more real than the symptoms in your body. Stand on the Word of God; meditate on it and make it final authority in your life. Put it in your heart until the reality of your healing has more power and validity to you than the symptoms of sickness coming on your body. One thing you must know: God’s Word does not fail! Let the Word fight its own fight. Just rest in God, and your healing will certainly be a reality.

TOPIC: RESTORATION OF WASTED YEARS

SCRIPTURE “GOD, your God, will restore everything you lost; he will have compassion on you; he will come back and pick up the pieces from all the places where you were scattered. No matter how far away you end up, GOD, your God, will get you out of there.” Deuteronomy 30:3-4

MESSAGE: God is the author of life; the writer of times and seasons. In time, He programmed every existence, as emphasized in Ecclesiastes 3:1-2, "To every [thing there is] a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: a time to..." There is a time to be strategic and take certain steps; there is a time to marry; there is a time to start that career or enterprise; there is a time to build a house, and a time to make sacrifices. When the time for your expected opportunity comes and you do not maximize it, you have wasted that time. Missed times and seasons over and over again accumulates to become wasted years. Wasted years is simply a person, organization or system operating behind schedule.

Wasted years are lost years, fruitless years, painful years, crisis years, misdirected and misguided years, dry years and years of foolish acts. No matter how far time has gone past you, the years wasted can be restored. You can become the reality of your good dreams. God said in Joel 2:25 [AMP], “…I will compensate you for the years the swarming locust has eaten...” And in today's scripture, "GOD, your God, will restore everything you lost..." because "He'll have compassion [that is, mercy] on you." No matter how far you've gone off track, God's restoring power will get you out, by reintroducing the opportunities needed for your restoration. Just one chance, one opportunity, one relationship and favour from God can restore ten years of wasted efforts.

DECLARATION
Dear LORD, I thank You for today's devotional. I believe in Your restoring power. Today, I obtain mercy for my restoration, in Jesus’ Name!

No matter how far time has gone past you, the years wasted can be restored.

TOPIC: ONLY GOD CAN

SCRIPTURE “And I will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten, the cankerworm, and the caterpiller, and the palmerworm, my great army which I sent among you.” Joel 2:25

MESSAGE: Without doubt, regret represents one of the evils those who consistently miss their kairos [opporune] moment faces. A research was carried out on about ten thousand [10000] men who were on their death bed, about nine thousand, eight hundred [9800] of them expressed regrets for the life they lived, only about two hundred [200] of them said they lived a fulfilled life. While there is no human being that does not make mistakes or miscalculate at some point, consistently missing your time to...[Ecclesiastes 3:1-2] will lead to a life of regrets, bringing one to a point of personal WHYS, based on the steps one has taken or taking: why did I make such decision? Why did I go all out with him? Why did I allow them? I should have not sent that letter or SMS. Why didn't I sow that sacrificial seed? I should have not married him or her, etc.

Whatever the case, God is in control of time; He created it, and He will never bow to whatever He creates. As seen in today's scripture, God said, He will restore to you the years that the locust has eaten. Only God can restore wasted years. There is absolutely no situation God can't restore. The first step to restoration is acknowledging the fact that you have wasted times and seasons, and embrace the God factor for restoration, including making certain attitudinal changes [Joshua 18:3]. God is not in time, time is in God; He can rewind it, pause it and fast-forward it simply restore you. If you are in regrets for times and seasons not well maximized, it's okay, but the total damage is in staying in regrets. Pick up your life and start making the changes necessary before it's too late. You still have today.

There is absolutely no situation God can't restore

MESSAGE: LIVE ETERNITY DRIVEN LIFE

SCRIPTURE: If our hope is only in this world, we are people most miserable I Corinthians 15: 19.

MESSAGE: Life is a journey. You will certainly arrive someday. When you arrive, where will you spend eternity? It is heaven or hell? The choice is yours. Your destination after this life is premise on whether you accept and acknowledge Jesus Christ as Lord and Saviour, which invariably dictates and influences your lifestyle, action, behavior, character and conduct.

It will be monumental disaster and colossal failure that you are always in Church, giving your offerings and tithes, sowing seeds and engaging in kingdom service, and after all these, you still went to spend eternity in hell due to careless and pretentious lifestyle. You cannot be a Christian in the morning and a clubber at night and escape hell. If you are not going to heaven, there is no need wasting your time in the Church. It will be highly regrettable if satan ask you “So you later came here?

Beloved, I want you to be heavenly conscious. If heaven is not the destination of anyone close to you disconnect from them, even if they are your best friends or you met them in Church. Somebody going to Lagos and the one going to Kano, do not board the same bus. People going to different places do not board the same bus. Friendship is not by force, but by choice. Do not allow friends and busybodies to discourage you from serving God the way you should. You will regret your eternity if people you met in church are the ones that took you to hell. Disconnect from any ungodly relationship.

Beloved, be very careful how you live your life. Heavenly race requires absolute discipline and determination. I know there are issues challenging you. With the help of the Holy Spirit, you can surmount any obstacle. It takes the grace of God, discipline and determination to live eternity driven life. Live a purpose eternity driven life.

HAVE IN MIND
It will be monumental loss and colossal failure that you are always in Church, giving your offerings and tithes, sowing seeds and engaging in kingdom service, and after all these, you still went to spend eternity in hell

SCRIPTURE:: This book of the law shall not depart out of your mouth; but you shall meditate therein day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then you shall make your way prosperous and you shall have good success. Joshua 1: 8

MESSAGE: Often times people run Helter sketa looking for what and how to become prosperous and succeed in their life endeavor. Some engage in all kind of unthinkable things just to be prosperous and succeed. Have you heard of husband's or wives using their spouse for ritual purpose? Some use their mother, Father, children and relations. Others mortgage themselves all in the pursuit of prosperity and success either in their careers, profession or business.

My dear all the above mentioned come with regrets, sorrow, frustration and lack of peace which leads to bad success. There is only one sure and genuine source to prosper and to succeed in life and this source is the word. Embedded in the Bible which is the word are mysteries that when studied and acted upon guarantees prosperity and success.

When you're an ardent reader of the word of God, the word becomes flesh and finds expression in your life. God said to Joshua, if you want to prosper and have food success, study the word of God until it becomes picture in your heart. When it form pictures in your heart, you will surely prosper. This is because the word is looking for expression.

Beloved, I encourage you to study the word, mediate on it and observe and do accordingly to all that the word says. I assure you that God cannot lie, you surely must prosper and make good success in all your life endeavor in Jesus name

TOPIC: WAIT UPON THE LORD

SCRIPTURE: "But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint.
Isaiah 40:31

MESSAGE: Often, emphasis is laid on how important it is as a Christian to exercise faith and trust in God, by waiting upon Him. It took many years of waiting for Abraham to see the fulfilment of God's promises to him. What exactly does it mean to wait on the Lord?

Waiting is only possible within time and God, the creator of time, is not limited by our impression of same. Therefore, what seems late for you, may not be in the sight of God who in Jeremiah 29:11 assures you, "for I know the plans l have for you."

What do you do while waiting upon God for His visitation and move:

1. Put your hope and trust in God and His word (Psalm 130:5-6)

2. Resist fear and the yoke of anxiety ( Psalm 37:7-8)

3. Be strong and courageous in the face of challenges (Ps 27:13-14)

4. Continue in steadfast prayer (Colossians 4:2).

"Be still in the presence of the Lord, and wait patiently for Him to act. Don’t worry about evil people who prosper or fret about their wicked schemes."

In all situations we need to put our trust in Jesus
