5 SPIRITS OF EVANGELISM

1. The Spirit of Sacrifice: one of the signs that the spirit of evangelism is upon you is when you start taking dangerous steps in order to win souls. Let me tell you something, you can sell your valuable properties like your house to raise money for evangelism. I had sold a house before and raised money for evangelism. Some people see Evangelists as beggars because we come online or on air to seek support for Evangelism.

2. The Spirit of determination: I went somewhere for a crusade and the venue was sealed off. I had all manner of discouragements to cancel the crusade. Infact, I was told to cancel the crusade by my host pastor. I was totally frustrated but I refused to quit. But God saw my heart and helped me to hold the crusade.

3. The Spirit of Burden and Passion For Souls: when the spirit of evangelism is upon you, you will loose your peace until you go out for evangelism. You are under pressure to talk to people about Christ.

4. The Spirit of Spending money (extravagance) for Evangelism: All the money you have is for evangelism. That's why when some contemporary Evangelists died, nothing was found in their accounts. We can spend any amount of money for evangelism. Sir, that's not common. Many preachers can't spend money on evangelism the way we do. It's not normal. It is the spirit of evangelism.

5. The Spirit of Patience: That's why I'm kicking against the popular teaching that Evangelists don't have patience. I questioned where they got their claims from because it's not in the Bible. Patience is one of the spirits of Evangelism. We can't follow up people without patience. We also preach with patience, without patience, you can't win souls.
