One thing real estate has taught me over the years is that patience often pays more than pressure.
When I started working as a realtor newly 🤣, I thought that closing deals quickly is the thing
You the adrenaline rush, Omo, the faster, the better. 🤣🤣. Chai!!
But thennnn, experience has taught me something different.
Some of the clients who took the longest to make a decision eventually became repeat buyers, referred their friends and family, and turned into long-term relationships. 💃💃
It reminded me that people don’t just remember the property they bought.
They remember the experience.
They remember whether they felt heard, informed, and supported while making one of the biggest financial decisions of their lives.
Whether in business or life generally, trust takes time to build.
And in my experience, the best opportunities often come from relationships you’ve nurtured patiently over time.
What’s one lesson your profession has taught you about people?
Another Friday is here, woah!
