Lesson I Learned from My Uncle Refusal to Invest in Real Estate.

According to him, after the FESTAC 77, the government decided to sell the houses built to host the visitors at a very lower prices but he and his friends decided to show reluctance to securing a good future for their children.

Their reason for refusal to invest then was that FESTAC is a swampy area and they preferred to remain a local champion in Ajegunle where they built their houses. They never knew that in their wildest dream Festac will develop faster than Ajegunle and they lost out. If he and his friends had taken a bold step then, by now their worth would have increased significantly than how they were now.

From his experience, I have learnt a lesson and I have changed my orientation about real estate investment which is while I’m writing this article.
