šŸ”„ THE MYSTERY OF JESU OYINGBO THE MAN WHO CALLED HIMSELF ā€œJESUSā€ IN LAGOS

(A Story Many Young People Today Have Never Heard)
Lagos has seen many strange moments… but none shook the city like the arrival of one man in the late 1950s Olufunmilayo Immanuel Odumosu, better known as Jesu Oyingbo.

This wasn’t just a preacher.
This was a man who stood up one day and boldly declared:

ā€œI am Jesus Christ. The second coming has happened. I am He.ā€
Some people laughed.
Some were confused.
But many believed completely.

Families left their homes, packed their belongings, and moved into his community, convinced they were living with the returned Messiah. His group grew so big that it eventually formed a full settlement with shops, businesses, workshops, and daily gatherings.

His headquarters first at Oyingbo (where the nickname came from) and later at Maryland, Lagos was filled with unusual structures, statues, lion symbols, and inscriptions like ā€œPrince of Peaceā€, ā€œImmanuel the Christā€ and ā€œLion of Judah.ā€ It became one of the most discussed places in Lagos.

To some, it looked holy.
To others, it looked mysterious.

Either way it drew massive attention.
In the 70s and 80s, Jesu Oyingbo became one of the most talked-about names in Nigeria. Newspapers wrote about him. People visited out of curiosity. His followers treated him with unquestionable devotion.

Every evening, he held film nights for the whole neighbourhood a very rare thing at that time. People said he was humorous, friendly, and always smiling, despite the controversies around him.

But everything changed in 1988 when he passed away at age 73.
Confusion hit his followers.
Some expected a resurrection.
It never happened.

After his passing, disputes over his properties and community leadership brought the movement to an end. Court cases followed for years until the estate was eventually taken over by his children.

Today, the story of Jesu Oyingbo remains one of the most unbelievable chapters in the spiritual history

šŸ’„ NEXT OF KIN WON’T SAVE YOUR BANK MONEY! šŸ’„

Many Nigerians don’t know this, but let me open your eyes today šŸ‘€šŸ‘‡

Most of us believe that once we fill ā€œNext of Kinā€ at the bank, the person automatically becomes the heir to our money when we die. We even relax, thinking ā€œMy money is safe, it will go straight to my wife/husband/child.ā€

My brother, my sister… it doesn’t work like that o! šŸ˜‚

šŸ‘‰ Here’s the bitter truth:
Your Next of Kin is NOT a signatory to your account. That title alone doesn’t give them the legal right to withdraw a single kobo. If you don’t have a written WILL or clear legal instruction, your family will have to go through something called Probate Court.

āš–ļø Probate is the process the bank and court use to decide who gets your money. And guess what? It’s not only long and stressful, but also expensive. While your family is mourning you, they’ll be running from bank to lawyer, from lawyer to court. 😢 And by the time it’s all done, they may lose a reasonable chunk of that money to legal fees.

Now imagine: money you sweated for, worked late nights for, even risked your health for… ending up in the hands of lawyers and the system. šŸ’ø

But wait, there’s good news! 🌟

šŸ’” The Smart Move You Need Today:
Go to your bank and request a POD form.
POD means Payable On Death.

This simple form allows you to write the name of the exact person you want to inherit your money. That person doesn’t need to be a signatory. They don’t need to fight in court. They don’t need to beg anybody.

All they will need is your death certificate, and the bank will pay them directly. šŸ™Œ Simple, clean, no wahala.

āœ… With POD, you save your loved ones the headache, the court stress, the family quarrels, and the financial loss. You give them peace while securing your legacy.

So please, don’t just rely on ā€œNext of Kinā€ when it comes to your money in the bank. That one na half-information wey dey mislead people. šŸ›‘

šŸ‘‰ Do the needful today. Fill out your POD form. Protect yo

THE LEGEND’S CASKET – TESLIM ā€œTHUNDERā€ BALOGUN (1927–1972)

This historic photograph captures the final farewell to Teslim Olawale Balogun, the man who became a symbol of Nigerian football excellence. Popularly known as ā€œThunderā€ Balogun for his fearsome left-footed shots, he was the first Nigerian to play professional football in England (for Peterborough United, Queens Park Rangers, and later Holbeach United) at a time when very few Africans broke into European football.

Balogun’s football journey began in Lagos where his incredible strength, skill, and powerful strikes made him a household name. He starred for clubs like Pan Bank FC, Railways FC, Plateau United, and Lagos Dynamos, and later shone for Nigeria’s national team, the Red Devils (now Super Eagles).

He earned his nickname when one of his shots reportedly tore through the net during a match – a testament to his raw power and technique. Beyond his playing days, Balogun made history again by becoming Africa’s first qualified professional football coach, paving the way for future generations.

When he died suddenly in 1972 at just 45 years old, Lagos stood still. Thousands of supporters, teammates, and admirers filled the streets to honour him. His casket, as seen in this image, was decorated with footballs the very symbol of his life, career, and passion. It was the people’s way of saying goodbye to a man who lived and breathed the beautiful game.

Today, his legacy lives on through the Teslim Balogun Stadium in Surulere, Lagos, ensuring that the name ā€œThunderā€ continues to echo in Nigerian football history.

K1 WINS HEARTS WITH HUMBLE APOLOGY

Yesterday tested my patience, and I admit I fell short. To Nigerians, our youths, FAAN, and the security personnel affected — I am truly sorry.

I’m grateful to my fans at home and abroad for their support. Let’s channel this energy into showing respect for our institutions and holding ourselves to higher standards.

I will cooperate fully with the authorities to make amends.

To my global family thank you for forgiving me. I’ve heard you: Go, and sin no more.

I’ve never liked cheating. I worked hard to be top of my class, so why should someone copy and get the same glory? One day during an exam, I caught a boy copying. I didn’t keep quiet I raised my hand right in the middle of the test and said, ā€˜He’s cheating!’ loud enough for everyone to hear. That boy was expelled… and guess what? Nobody praised me for it." ✈ FROM FUJI STAGE TO AIRPORT DRAMA THE KWAM 1 INCIDENT šŸŽ¤āž”šŸš«

What started as a normal Abuja–Lagos flight on ValueJet VK201 quickly turned into an aviation headline nobody saw coming.

According to the pilot, Captain Oluranti Ogoyi, boarding began at 8:10 am.
Enter Kwam 1, gold flask in hand. Ground staff, following standard procedure, asked to check the contents. He refused.

"Do you know who I am?" he allegedly said, sipping from the flask suspected to contain alcohol, a banned substance onboard Nigerian flights.

Tensions rose. At the foot of the aircraft, security repeated the request. Still, he declined. The captain himself stepped out of the cockpit to calm things… but then a twist no one expected.

Without warning, Kwam 1 allegedly opened the flask and poured its contents on the pilot, security, and some nearby passengers. 😳

Security intervened. The decision? Kwam 1 would not fly.
Doors closed, engines roared, and the plane departed at 8:50 am without him.

But the turbulence didn’t end there.
The NCAA has now banned him from flying for 6 months, while Minister Festus Keyamo warns:

> ā€œAny airline that carries him risks losing its licence.ā€

From royal Fuji vibes to a no-fly list this is one flight saga that will be talked about for a long time.

Anonymous Confession šŸ’”šŸ«£

Good morning izzmedia My boyfriend or should I say ex got married in November last year. He left me because of family pressure and the urge to start up a family soon. Note: he doesn’t love the woman he wants to marry. A few months after the marriage, he says he regrets getting married and wants a divorce.

Before the marriage, I got pregnant which was a perfect excuse for him to call off the wedding plans. He tried, but still, family pressure made him fall sick because calling it off will disgrace them in society. I aborted the pregnancy. He got married not up to one month after.

I aborted the pregnancy. He got married not up to one month after the wedding. He says he regrets not keeping the baby. He told me he can’t live with a woman he doesn’t love. This woman stresses him out, always wanting a fight.

For someone who knew the situation of how she got married, she should be calm and give him a chance to forget about his ex but no. This man still calls me. He’s best friends with my mom and all this causes issues in his marriage. Though we never broke up.

Around February, he broke up with me saying he hasn’t slept with his wife once since they got married because he kept thinking of me and he wanted to give it a chance to work out. I told him OK and wished him well. About 2 weeks later, he called me crying that she was cheating on him. I consoled him.

We became friends again and started talking while he was giving his marriage a chance. He later told me she pranked him that she was only taking revenge because he was cheating on her. They settled and he got her pregnant. Things were moving fine I guess...

But this woman one day made up trouble with her husband and he beat her up to the point of a miscarriage. The problem started again and ever since then, he came back to me and now he’s looking for ways to get a divorce. The wife is refusing to go to court, his family members are not willing to go and collect the bride price they paid.

You won’t believe how this ends... full story continues in the comments! šŸ«£šŸ‘‡šŸ½.
