When it used to be about women we raced for respect.

There came a time when all that mattered was who had the best fairest of women. Hmm, I can imagine my male gender trying to outclass and outshine their male folks and friends. So what happened after then I believe some of us know the result.

Do not ask me if I was caught up in that web because my response will be no. since I never had the opportunity to flaunt women like I am flaunting cars. For me, I respect that gender such that flaunting them never crossed my mind as the primary reason to earn respect.

So now what has changed? Do we still race for respect by flaunting who has the best and fairest gender be it male or female by their side or do we race for respect by having something to fall back to as a lifesaver when we are of age? How do you want to define respect in your terms?

Now it isn't about women or men and their physical appearance rather it is about what they have as a failsafe. mechanism when the chips are down.

The world has evolved and keeps evolving and investment has come to be the basis for which you earn your respect irrespective of your gender.

- Let me be more specific Real Estate Investment is the real deal to earn that respect from anyone. I am not referring to showing off but rather I am speaking about taking and having control of your own life and not becoming a burden to anyone in the future. The future doesn't necessarily connote years to come, it means your tomorrow starts today.

It is worth the Risk.

As a student of history, I pay apt attention to details of the past and make sure to find a
balance in relating it to the present to make informed decisions and not repeat the same blunders.

Ok my story isn't a terrible one at that, but like I would rightly state that looking back maybe if I had a crystal ball to look into the future

I would do everything within my reach to make sure my parents went ahead to take the risk of investing in landed properties.

It may interest you to know that although my parents were able to secure a property for themselves in Lagos state, but they could have done more and taken the huge risk to secure more landed property then and by now they would be amongst the rank and file of billionaires in their retirement age.

Here is the summary of what I am trying to say; when it comes to investing in real estate shut your ears to random opinions, look into what the future holds and invest in a company with proven track records over the years. It is the best and wisest risk to take i can bet my life on that.

Well, you would ask if one shouldn't be careful before embarking on such an investment journey.

The chances of falling into the wrong hands have always been high as some people due to their simple nature believe everything they are told and does not go further to vet if this information is correct or not.

I do not say they were foolish to swallow everything they were told but it is wise to go further to verify the facts presented.

Again my candid advice is take the risk and invest especially in real estate and landed properties that have prospects for good returns on investment(ROI).

If you act now you won't lament in the future like some of our parents are doing now.
