Businessman OMOLETEX Na Umuchu secretly built a 12-flat apartment in the name of one of his apprentices after just 3+ years of service—not as settlement, but purely as a surprise gift to encourage him.
According to Omoletex, the apprentice has no idea the property exists because he is currently outside Nigeria. He bought the land in the apprentice’s name from the beginning and has now handed all the property documents to the apprentice’s mother.
He revealed that agents had already secured tenants at ₦600,000 per flat, but he reduced the rent to ₦500,000 so they could move in immediately. He also instructed the apprentice’s mother to get his Nigerian bank account ready so rental payments would start entering his account—leaving him completely shocked when the alerts begin.
Omoletex added that the apprentice had not even earned up to 30% of the money used to build the property, stressing that the gesture was simply an act of encouragement and generosity.
“From today, he is the rightful landlord. My hands are completely off this property,” Omoletex declared.
