A perfect example that illustrates this Documents vividly is the title documents you obtain when you purchase a car. In that document it reveals the seller's identity and how the ownership to that car was transferred to the new owner.
To all who own a car, from them this fact is easily affirmed.
But we somehow fail to inquire of this document when it's about owning a Land, a Land we could all agree is much more valuable than a car.
How Interesting to recall that a Land is much more an asset than a car, a car which if at all' is an asset as some may agree, I would love to admit that in most obvious cases it is a liability.. 🤷🏽♂️
In A Deed of Assignment the assignor states his promise that from the date of the assignment or any date stipulated therein, the assignor assigns his ownership in that Land to the assignee.
The deed contains very pertinent information for a real estate transaction. For one, it spells out the date when the ownership of the property transfers from one owner to the other. The deed also gives a specific description of the property that is included in the transfer of ownership.
