The Five Construction Principles
1. Environmental Protection; this principle advocates protecting the environment against harsh impacts that the structure project can cause. The contractors are responsible for ensuring their constructions minimal effect on the environment. 2. Safety: contractors should equip the building team with the necessary PPE and tools to guarantee the safety of workers, site and materials.
3. Speed: as much as possible, contractors should aim to finish the project on or before the stated deadline. To accomplish this, contractors should ensure that the crew can complete tasks on time. Certain circumstances may challenge the contractors meeting the deadline, but with professional preparation they can surpass them. Some of the challenges include; material supply issues, poor risk management, construction errors, harsh weather condition, changes in client demands and expectation.
