We’ve called .pa.maker for making a large wooden terrace on top of the roof which we have insulated and renewed. The client had wished to replace the PVC sheet roof in the back of that, and Team Paolo has done a fantastic job making a new PVC roof. This work was completely ancillary but we are happy that the client got helped by our business partner❤️😊

Low-cost impactful renovation🤓 We have insulated the walls (8cm), replaced single glass to HR++, and installed a decentralized heat-recovery ventilation! We had a little budget but managed to move the from G to B!!!!

buildings have high restrictions for renovations and refurbishment. Due to such inconvenience, many of monumental buildings are left with original facades and windows. They have low energy labels… but if you replace the glass to HR++, they can at least achieve a higher insulation property🙆🏻‍♀️

One of the most frequently asked questions to us from homeowners is “is it worth glazing the windows?”. And I answer “If it’s single glaze to double glaze, go for it! Actually, install HR++ if your budget allows.” The question is when the windows are already double-glazed, what do you do?? It depends on how old your windows are. The older, the poorer the insulation efficacy becomes. So if your windows are from the 90’s or earlier, you can have better insulation results after replacing them to HR++ or HR+++!

CLAY PLASTERS: is one of the few clay plaster makers in the Netherlands who have a looong history of expertise. Using clay is an ancient method of plastering or building walls. The natural material cools down the house and absorbs moistures as it ages to become more solid over 100 years. As I come from a country with Shikkui, one of the clay plastering method using Corals and I love that, I have visited and got a full tour of their product offerings🥰❤️
