I came across this article, interesting read:

GREEN PARTY = the "rich" don't pay their "fair share"
REALITY= someone on $150k already contributes 5X more income tax to society than someone on $50k!

I'm passionate about closing the wealth gap, but this is not the way.

Marama Davidson says "they’ve put profits before people" but:
1) Profits generate the taxes that pay for welfare
2) Profitable exports create trade surpluses
3) Profits allow businesses to look after people with new jobs, job security, training, promotions, and pay rises
4) Profit reserves allow you to survive pandemics
5) Profits allow both businesses and individuals to make smarter choices for the planet, e.g. sustainable packaging

The Greens seem to take a 'profit is evil' approach when, for most humans, the exact opposite is true. Profits allow us to progress our Passions, and look after the Planet and People.

I can’t see anywhere in their policy how they’re going to ensure that this doesn’t create an even greater:
A) Poverty trap
😎 Welfare dependency
C) People having more children than they can care for

And then there's the terrible COVID timing when we need businesses most.

This smells like a far-left vote grab, not a progressive move for .
