......Introducing our In-house Interior Designer .....
Pinny Quinlan
*******Background*******
At school I was drawn to colours and creating visually beautiful art. I was always amazed at the colours in the environment on the way hm from school on the bus. By boarding school I was spending a lot of my spare time in the art room.. (we had the BEST art teacher at St Joseph's Māori girls college) if I ever saw her again I would tell her this!
When I started my teaching career I naturally navigated towards the arts and became the whole school art teacher.
Moving into a different career path I started to do relieving as a teacher and naturally we did art all day if I it was up to me. The kids always responded well when they know you love what you are teaching. Move over a few years I started to go along to client meetings to take notes Initially but found myself naturally giving advice on space, lighting, colour schemes and textures and what looked good and how to utilise space. I found a lot of of our clients needed a lot of help when it comes to the details after the build.
At the start of this year I invested in a diploma of interior design and I have unlocked the artistic creator and feel so alive doing what I love to do!
To summarise my artistic design flair complements our practical skills and knowledge of the building side. We are both extremely opposite in this space n it works so well!
So happy to provide this one stop shop for our clients. Totally recommend us! 💯
