Honoured to be awarded the Smile Award for #2 Large Branch of the Year for 2025 🏆

Apparently, it’s not just my great smile that clinched it 😄 — but the hard work and commitment of the incredible Browns Bay team I’m lucky to lead. Their passion, energy, and client-first mindset continue to inspire me every day.

This recognition is slightly different from our recent end-of-year Barfoot & Thompson awards — it reflects all-round performance, including customer service and marketing excellence.

Barfoot & Thompson Browns Bay has officially held our spot in the Top 10 branches for FY2025 — and what a team effort it’s been to get here.

There’s no way we could have done this without the energy, hard work and heart from every corner of the branch — sales, marketing, admin and property management. You all bring it, day in and day out 💪

A massive shoutout to my sidekick Zhang 👊 — your leadership on the floor, your drive, and the way you bring people together plays a huge part in this success. Appreciate everything you do. You make it look like a piece of cake.

A proud moment as Branch Manager to see our Barfoot & Thompson Browns Bay team come together for a night of recognition, connection, and celebration.

We honoured top performers across sales and service, crowned our Champion of Champions, and had a few laughs with fun awards like Best Dressed, Rock Solid Member, Lolly Jar Guardian, and the ever-brilliant Million Dollar Smile.

To those who received awards – congratulations once again. And to those who didn’t – please know your contribution is no less valuable. This team thrives because of everyone in it.

📸 Here’s a bit of behind-the-scenes from our weekly sales meeting at Barfoot & Thompson Browns Bay...

We started with our usual birthday song 🎂 – a small tradition, but one that brings a bit of fun and keeps the team spirit strong.

This week had something extra with our quarterly incentive raffle 🎟️ – a great way to recognise the consistent effort and commitment across the team. Ten of our salespeople won tickets to attend either Josh Phegan in Queenstown 🇳🇿 or AREC 2025 on the Gold Coast 🇦🇺.

A big congratulations to Emma Zhang, who took out the top prize – a travel voucher ✈️ and AREC tickets. Well deserved!

Professional development is something I feel strongly about – giving the team opportunities to learn, grow, and stay ahead in a changing market is key.

Also worth a mention – Browns Bay had the most entries for the upcoming Barfoot & Thompson Auckland Marathon 🏃‍♀️🏃‍♂️. Even better, every step we take helps support the Starship Foundation 💙

Really proud of this team – the way they support each other, keep pushing forward, and bring their best every day.

Is There Another One in Me? 🤔

Another IRONMAN New Zealand done! A solid swim, some unexpected bike drama (two punctures!), and a steady marathon brought me to the finish in 13hrs 17mins.

But now I can’t shake the question… Could I go sub-13 hours? (Without the punctures, I would have been so close!!)

Balancing work, training, and life isn’t always easy, but making time for challenges outside of work is so worth it. They push you, inspire you, and keep you striving for more.

So… is there another one in me? Maybe.
