✨ LIGHT UP JULY – GERALDINE WINTER LIGHTS ✨
We all loved seeing Geraldine sparkle at Christmas, so this year we’re bringing the magic to winter too!
As part of July in Geraldine, we’re inviting residents and businesses to take part in Geraldine Winter Lights by lighting up your homes, shopfronts, gardens, trees and buildings throughout July.
Winter gives us some of the longest nights of the year, making it the perfect time to create a warm, welcoming glow around our town. By switching on your lights between 5pm and 9pm each evening, families can enjoy an early-evening stroll, admire the displays, and celebrate the season together while still protecting our beautiful dark skies during Matariki.
Whether it’s fairy lights, lanterns, spotlights, illuminated trees or creative displays, every light helps make Geraldine shine a little brighter.
Let’s embrace the magic of winter, support our community, and create something special for locals and visitors alike.
